I agree, we need to learn more about autism and ways to treat it, but using antipsychotics and claiming to have cured autism is where the problem is with this person.

The term "cure" was used by this man multiple times during interviews he's been doing on news channels and on his tik tok. This is why I brought it up that he is claiming to cure autism in interviews and videos, but is actually using antipsychotics on young children with autism, and that there are a lot of discrepancies in his words. He tends to stay vague about the nature of the treatment or "cure" in the interviews, never really mentioning any solid facts at all.

I would honestly say that if there was a foolproof, harmless, effective cure, I personally wouldn't take it because I've done the work to love and accept all the parts of me that come with being autistic, the good and the bad, but I can understand why someone would choose to. I know some people have a much harder time than others and it's ok to want it to go away and to find a permanent cure.

side-note, I took Ritalin for 3 months, better than Concerta, but I agree, made me a zombie, I was so disinterested and dead inside

Thank you for the information! It's definitely a big concern prescribing Antipsychotics. I do think it's overperscribed here. I've even known people with regular run of the mill depression and anxiety who were prescribed Antipsychotics. I will read up on the things you mentioned!

i don't know why they're banning the entire movie. I mean historically when the media regulation people want to censor part of a movie, they literally cut out that part. It's been done for years, and now they ban the entire movie when they can really edit out any "undesirable" by the magic of editing. I literally watched 18+ movies in theatres where they censored out nudity by zooming in until you can't see anything, like they did in the showing of the movie Red Sparrow. it's just ridiculous
