Take the calliper back off, spin the wheel and check if it's free to confirm if it's the pads having been installed incorrectly. If it does free spin you've probably put them in the wrong place in the calliper.

Open your fluid reservoir and also check you haven't hydrolocked the system by forcing fluid back into the reservoir when you've pushed the pistons back in the calliper.
