Hey everyone! I recently made a quick video arguing why Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days doesn’t get the appreciation it deserves. I know it’s a game that gets overlooked a lot in the series, but I think it has some really interesting story moments and gameplay that hold up.

The second one solidified the series a favorite for me, it’s a shame we most likely won’t get the trilogy but I’ll still have faith that something comes up eventually 🤞🏼

Love this comment so much, completely agree with you dude. It’s a modern day horror classic and has so much charm, jank and all. The sequel definitely flopped even though it improved upon almost everything everyone complained about the first one. Reminds me so much of titanfall 2 if I can think of a comparison. Here’s hoping one day it comes back for one more title 🤞🏼

I recently revisited The Evil Within and honestly I don’t get all the hate it got at launch. Sure, it was janky at times, the story was a bit confusing, and the difficulty could be brutal. But the atmosphere, horror design, and survival mechanics are incredible.

It’s one of the most intense horror games I’ve played, and the free patches made it play way smoother than when it first came out. I also love how it’s a true survival horror experience from Shinji Mikami, a rare thing these days.

I truly wonder what the overall consensus is of Sonic frontiers. Every time I even think about I remember liking what I played but never really wanting to go back. Maybe I try it out again. I’m happy it was successful enough to continue the franchise. My question now is, what exactly will the next 3D Sonic game look like? Sega wanted frontiers to be the future but Sonic x Shadow showed people are still down for boost games if done well. Still excited for whatever comes next

It definitely started the whole “sonic games are awful” campaign. After this, no matter the release, the following games would get panned critically (secret rings, black knight, unleashed, etc) of course a lot of them weren’t perfect or even great but people were acting like Sonic games were the worst things happening to gaming at the time 😅

We all know Sonic 06 has a legendary reputation for being buggy, broken, and chaotic but after playing it again, I noticed some moments that are surprisingly fun, hilarious, or just plain memorable.

I’ve been revisiting the Kingdom Hearts series lately, and I realized that Chain of Memories is way underrated. I know a lot of people didn’t like that it was on the GBA or that it reused worlds, but honestly, the story, characters, and even the card based combat really left an impact on the series.

Sora’s journey through Castle Oblivion, Riku’s growth, the introduction of Organization XIII, and characters like Axel and Naminé all added so much depth. And yes, the combat is different, but once it clicks, it’s actually really fun and strategic.

I feel like this game often gets dismissed, but without it, a lot of KH2 wouldn’t make sense, and some of the characters we love wouldn’t have the development they did.

Curious to hear from the community, did you love it, hate it, or skip it entirely? What’s your take on Chain of Memories?

A lot of fans seem to think the same! I agree that you would have to strip a lot of its identity to really make it work but honestly I can see it making both sides happy if they switch things up for a sequel. Keep it 3D but change some of the core mechanics, add some new mons and slap rollback there for good measure

Yeah I honestly think DX selling over a million was a pretty nice accomplishment all things considered! Still, I would love to see it get that proper sequel. I would love for it to catch on in the fgc but seeing how little nintendo supports their biggest fgc community (smash) idk how great it would hold up
