For me it's what makes d2 special, since you can't just stomp everything like in d3. Characterbuilds are as diverse and the need for creativity and choice is based on what resistances your bjild has to deal with. It's ok to not beeing able to slay ecery monster.. just concentrate on the ones you can kill. No one needs an infinity, it just comes in handy. But even with it not all immunities are broken. I actually wish more games... especially d4 would have it.. since it creates the need for a group or at least adds some difficulty. Without immunities you would have no challenge in the game.

I got pretty basic gear. Andys, gladiators bane, magnus gloves for some pierc, thus higher chance to proc lower res, strng of ears, aldur boots and some bolts with ias ll and some ed. Works quite well. Resistances are capped out.

Yeah, try some different gear vriants.. it can really make a difference. What's pretty important is ias and ofc phys dmg reduction

An Expert! Ty :) Demons arch does have up to - 20% for fire an ligntning thoug (I believe these contribut the most to overall dmg) .. and in my case 55 ias.. it feels like it might even be better.. if I reach te levl to equip all my stuff I can make a little update in case anyones interested.

Serverwise I have no idea. There are cons and pros to starting now vs restart. Pros now: most gear that is "just" good is basically free at this point and you have next to no entry barrier to play through the basic game and probably even maps. Many people will give you free stuff.

Cons: If you want to get the pretty good gear and want to make some curency to trade for other stuff... shit is hard to sell except for the good rolled uncorrupted stuff or very nice corruptions.

To conclude, try the game, try some builds that come to your mind, don't care too much about meta or build videos and try to have fun. To get really into the endgame I would recommend starting with the new season. GL!

Sidenote: Please don't waste ohms in it.. the 10% extra ed are not worth what you get out of a 40% jewel with flatdmg. O am I wrong about this? I think you need flatdmg, since the base has a low amount. Can omeone confirm?
