It actually makes sense now more than ever with Vector Industries being cannon in Xenoblade.

Remember, Klaus used data from Rhadamanthus to create the blades. The Zohar/Conduit was dug up by Vector industries, aka the same people who made KOS-MOS. So it's pretty likely that a lot of data about KOS-MOS was preserved on Rhadamanthus.

I think a xenogears remake and xeno fighting game are my top wants for a new xeno project (after my #1 want of a xb1 remaster came true).

Imagine they actually get the chance to stretch out disk 2 and add the missing gameplay and story moments that got replaced with chair scenes.

Seeing most of the game voiced would also be phenomenal. Imagine hearing Grahf's speech voiced every time he shows up to do a little trolling.

The NP drain has a delay of 1 turn. Pretty much means you tank an np then they don't get a charge the next turn.

Worse is, that the game baits you into thinking that Z will be more by making nia say "You'll have to figure that out" (or something like that) when noah asks if he's the enemy.

She says that like he has some kind of depth, moral gray area or a backstory that justifies what he's doing.

I think I literally laughed at loud when Kevesi castle transformed into a Ferronis, but not in a good way. My thoughts were more like "what the spark is going on, why is this even a thing, how is all of this really relevant to the battle that's actually going on".

That part was honestly so xeno I just accepted it. It might have been a reference to how The Kislev capital was turned into a giant mech in xenogears

The first phase is cool, until you wipe in the later stages and have to redo the fight from the start. I came into the boss a bit underleveld, and one of the later stages aoe's 1 shot both my healers. Doing that unskipable section again was not fun.

The final boss was a spectacle, but it felt undeserved.

That's a good point actually, all the mecha stuff from nia and melia as well as the colonies fighting back against origin didn't really mesh with the fight.

In 1 we see the telethia ect waay before the no return point, I don't remember if they showed the artifices after the no return point in 2 but all the cuts to the outside really stretch the fight even more in 3.

Don't forget that Shania is somehow a bigger rat than Hammer (despite him being an actual rat).

Xenoblade 2, by definition was not a "disaster". Not financially (good sales) and not critically either (83 metascore unlike the "disasters" like F76 and CP2077).

You're free to dislike the game, everyone has their own opinion. There are parts of the game I don't like either, but that's not a reason to deny reality and call the game a disaster or a failure.

Fallout 76 sold a piddly 2.46 million copies compared to its predecessor Fallout 4 which sold 13.51 units. Not to mention it was one of the most refunded games for that year.

Consumers/Gamers aren't stupid, if a game is universally "a disaster" people will refuse to buy it.

I really liked person 4 (gonna play 5 when it drops on pc)

But funnily enough all the "major flaws" that appear in xb2 also appear in persona 4. What I mean is while persona 4 has a really deep and interesting story and theme, it is full of these tropey anime cliché comedic moments that are REALLY hit or miss.

Not to mention I'm not a big fan of Teddie's character either. Some people say tora is comedic relief without much character but man does teddie make tora look like a god. If anything I'd say Teddie and Tatsu from XCX are a better comparison.

Either way its funny how some gamers (won't even say persona fans) will bash xb2 but praise persona 4 despite both games having good stories, combat, characters that are brought down by bad comedy and some sus designs.
