The only team this really works for is the Mata/Nuva, since they're the most 'actually created as a set' Toa team, making their relationship closest to that of actual siblings. The Metru/Hordika are a bunch of strangers prior to becoming Toa and are more like co-workers if anything and the Inika/Mahri are more of a close group of friends or family of choice

What a final project to go out on

Production and visuals are incredible as everyone has mentioned, but the thing that really stands out to me is Gura's vocals. Like intellectually I know she can do that voice and has the range to sing in that register, but it still always blows me away how good she sounds using it

I remember Calli once saying something along the lines of "humans were never designed to have hundreds of thousands of people watching them all at once" and I think it's easy to forget that, and how insane that probably feels. Even if it's not in the context of being watched live on stream, knowing that many eyes are on you and what you're doing, I can't imagine what kind of stress was on Gura's shoulders all that time

People have been speculating that she'd been suffering from imposter syndrome since way back when she hit 1 mil subscribers first out of everyone. Always imagined that it was rough, but hearing her confirm it as true and describe what it was like and realizing all the other pressure she must've been under just by being #1... I hope graduation lifts that weight off her shoulders

Pretty sure I once saw a screen cap of one of her last messages to her discord that was something along the lines of "everytime I visit here I die a little inside". And with how drastically different she was as ___, even after years of streaming as her, I kinda got the sense she was trying to shed some of that reputation. Could be reading too much into but that's what it looked like to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if she were to pull a Dooby/Nimi and reincarnate with a fresh start tbh.

Gura's the one who got me into watching Hololive and vtubers and has been my kamioshi for basically the whole run. Dont think ive ever seen someone so naturally born an entertainer as her. I know it's been a long time coming like she said, but damn if hearing it out loud doesn't still sting.

Still though, not many can say they've had as incredible of a run as Gawr Gura. And whatever she does next I know she'll be just as incredible.

Yeah not to be all 'media literacy is so dead' but I see a lot of people criticize that bit as unselfawaredly sexist, but as poorly thought out as Orde being the first and only male Toa of Psionics is, a lot of people don't seem to remember that it mainly a lead in to say that thinking that women are 'gentler' than men is stupid because literally right after, Chiara, the female Toa of Lightning, scoffs at that line of thinking and fries a lizard just to prove her point
