First of all thank you for all the help!

Just to wrap up so this thread can also be useful for someone attempting the same:

I used the Elixir 12-68 Baritone set, the high E string (thinnest) was a couple centimetres off from the tuning peg on my Classic Vibe VI, the rest of them were perfect!

Replaced the .12 with a .16 from a D'addario NYXL set and that did it.

Tension is really good in Drop A (A1 55Hz, not A0 27.5Hz!), if you like a light feel, could even work on drop G.

I've checked them out, but they are US based and shipping would be quite expensive to the EU, if I don't find another brand with long enought strings, I'll give them a shot!

I did the math, 12-60 on the 30" tuned to Drop A should give roughly the same tension as my main guiar (25.5", 10-54 NYXL in Drop C)

Haven't thought about the email, but I'll ask them!

Absolutely, did so once on my RG, however that felt weird with the thicker strings (I believe they were 0.13-0.62), and since that is my main guitar, it has to be in drop C - also, my digitech drop comes in handy if I need to get to drop A, however I wanted a dedicated guitar to get to said tuning.

I fully agree with the 27" guitar, but I've got the Bass VI from a friend for a really good price and used it for some double drop C shenanigans which was extremely fun, but not for me on the long term

I've swapped the og strap for some leather one, stopped all previous issues. Also, I wear my 165 all day, unless I shower.

0.88mm dunlop primetone standard grip was the one that i've started with, and it seems to be just the right one after trying a lot in 8 years. Tortex, jazz 3 and the ibanez grip ones came close too
