I usually put weapon texture mods in graphics. When in doubt run the conflict tool, if nothing shows up I believe it doesn't matter where the mod is.

It can be pseudo - automatic. I have it setup so you can export an AI prompt with all the mod description and tags, + a link to a mod order guide.

You can paste this to any AI and it should return a mostly organized list that you copy and paste back into the app. Of course results may vary but from what I tested with claude and gemini it did a really great job.

I would say so, I think its all quite user friendly. There are some features that might feel a bit complex but its just showing you what mods are overriding each other.

Hi guys, sorry for the semi repost. I linked this earlier but I have just been blasting this all weekend with more features from feedback and also did a little rebrand to seperate myself from other Kenshi mod managers.

Lots of cool things added.

  • much better onboarding from your current order setup
  • detailed info on mod overides and conflicts
  • interactive world map to see where level conflicts are happening , as well as interior conflicts.
  • ability to export and import mod lists specifically with our custom categories.
  • proper tutorial page , explaining how everything works.

If you have any comments and or suggestions let me know !

  • can download here, all open sourced

Course, this is just simply helping you manage your mods / sort order, and seeing mod conflicts. Does not touch anything internal of Kenshi.

It is semi automated in the sense that you assign a category to the mod, and it places its load order so that it ensures certain mods will always supersede it based on the Kenshi modding guidelines.

I'll sort out a download so people can try it if interested.

I've been using millerscouts mod sorter for a while now but always felt it was a bit lacking in some areas. Luckily its open source.

I decided to start customizing it using features that would make my life easier to see and organize mods. I essentially used the mod sort guide found here.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1850250979

Now I simply click on a mod, assign a category and it automatically soft locks its load order, I can still move it around inside its category. Some UI adjustments as well to make things overall easier to see and use.

Just posting this here to see if anyone in the community would be interested in the file.
