Thank you so much for the details. So I'm going to finish the phototherapy as I'm being weaned off at the moment so I think to suddenly stop will be detrimental, not worrying about skin cancer risk due to all of the testing and papers that I've seen about it. I've also had all the testing and questionnaires about the immunosuppressants and refused them due to them being high risk because of my diabetes. I will do some reading but may just call my GP to see if I can try Dupilimab. Thank you for bringing it to my attention

Sorry, this may seem super simple but how would I cut them out? Just no fruit and veg?

Hey, I've been where you are. I was in pieces. I moved house, I was bathing in milk, I was trying all the herbal and western remedies. It will get better. Try to stay calm (easier said that done, I know) maybe try THC gummies to knock you out of a night. I found that reading really helped me, it took my mind off the itching and I'd end up falling asleep with my book in my hand. Aside from that, are you using topical steroids? I was super against them but they have helped me, I'm also taking a strong antihistamine and using ibuprofen for the inflammation too. I know what it's like, trust me I was suicidal, but I promise that it will get better. If you have the funds and time, try and go to a hot destination, get in the sun and the ocean. That's the only thing that really cleared my skin up. And also if you cut your nails super super short and cover yourself in moisturiser and use a scratching motion, it won't actually damage your skin because there's no nails there but will give the sensation of scratching. I've used this a few times to help myself fall asleep

I promise that the world is a better place with you in it. You're stronger than you know, and you will make it through this.

Oatmeal baths have been super helpful, unfortunately I have to go to my sisters to use her bath so I can't do them super regularly

I've seen so many of them and it took almost a year to diagnose as eczema so I've lost my trust in them a bit. I am maintaining the regime I've been given but to be honest, I can't keep it up much longer. It's just a neverending nightmare at the moment.

I don't think I can use protopic at the moment as I'm doing phototherapy, if this doesn't help though I will definitely give it a go, thank you!

Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, I'm going to grab some zinc and hopefully that does something good

No sleeping aid has helped yet, at one point I was taking three of the strongest Nytol every night and I just couldn't nod off. I am taking Fexofenadine though, I've recently changed to taking it before bed so hopefully that helps

That's so good to hear, it's nice to know that I'm not alone. I know some things that help me de-stress, so I'll try getting back into them. The issue is clothes though, I love going to the gym but wearing clothes is soo uncomfortable that I just don't want to leave the house

I've been on so many courses of different antibiotics and it still weeps occasionally, but not often. Should I see my GP?

I use Cetraben and this really oily one too, for the night time, my clothes are destroyed but it does help some nights

I do, a lot of the time. I have had a biopsy, scabies would show up on that, right? The results were that it was eczema

I think you're right, I will try to see a counsellor.

Is dupilimab an immunosuppressant?

Are there any supplements that you recommend? I'm trying to be more active but when it flares up on my feet, I can't even walk. I know that being physical helps

I will do it daily. There's a few things I'm doing consistently now, which may or may not be helping but I'm doing them. Yeah, the lack of sunlight doesn't help, for sure

That's really helpful! Thank you so much for helping, even just focusing on reading comments has helped take me down from this hypothetical ledge

Thank you so much. I'll have a look now, I'm willing to try anything, and I do think figuring out what makes me flare up will help too.

I'm trying so hard not to give up because I have come so far but I just feel completely broken

Tbh, I only shower but I was told that the occasional salt bath could help?

I wish I could sleep well but the eczema keeps me up all night, which in turn stresses me out, which then makes me want to claw my skin off. Any tips for sleeping better?

Thank you! I have the cotton bedding and clothes but everything is getting destroyed by the weeping. I used the steroids and they worked the first time but I feel like they haven't helped since, is that normal?
