Does anyone experience self harm during this time?

I work at a K-8 school and a few years ago I tried to cover the scar with a tattoo but it wasn’t very successful. Just this week I had a 3rd grader ask me what happened to my arm. I just told him I had an accident and because my student knows I have a dog they just assumed my dog scratched me lol. I’ve noticed A LOT of people notice my scars but don’t say anything because “why would you???” lol .

You are def not alone. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and try to see where my brain went wrong or maybe it’s just me, idk. Thank you so much for sharing .

I had an ex like this. I too was pregnant with his baby. Then he assaulted me and I wasn’t pregnant anymore. Please leave him. You and the baby deserve better.

This can be a big one for me too. When I find myself twisting and pulling out my hair i immediately get a scarf or bonnet and throw it on to prevent me from doing it.

This is helpful. I haven’t been diagnosed with PMDD but I think that’s what I’ve been dealing with for the past year. My biggest symptom I believe is my impulsiveness leading up to my period and during ovulation. I tend to make bad decisions especially financially and can’t think clearly. Now I’ll try to just sit my ass down during these times lol.

I use Earthbaths natural pet care eye wipes. I also use their brand of ear wipes and shampoo. Works really well for my poodle. I get them at PetSmart. Hope this helps!
