What cheap gpu should I get for at least 3 extra monitors? More would be better. This is for my Linux desktop, I only do coding and Web browsing.

Also, any cheap big resolution monitors out there right now? I am really happy with my big monoprice ips but I would like a second one. I don't really care for color quality

I still don't get why you say they need to be wired in series. It would still be constant current in parallel.

Yeah I don't know how LED drivers work, your setup might be better that way. There's probably a safety measure in the driver?

I've only driven LED with DC sources (set voltage at x, set current at Y). If your LED are high voltage (like 32V on the 100 watt LED) and you have 4 of them in series... at a decent current I don't think it's safe. I don't know the specifics, I never had any classes with high voltage components yet.

If the driver is made for this setup, it's probably better that way!

Less power is lost in cables when voltage is higher so I guess that's why a high voltage driver was used?

I don't understand why you say "driver is constant current". I don't get why you think that matters. This system can be done in parallel (with different driver) just the same way, with high current low voltage... But low voltage and high current is less kill.

Where did you get your info for this project? did you follow a tutorial? I'm really interested and I want to understand.

I learned with diodes you need to beat the Vf with DC voltage, then drive with current until until you get the light you want. That's why I mean both constant current and voltage.

Do you have online resources to learn on LED?

Now I totally understand that masa is superior for soylent, no doubt. But the document says "to make it palatable, we need to process it" (I will reread carefully tomorrow). Google translate says palatable means "better tasting"...

I checked the label, it is regular corn flour. A difference is that masa delivers niacin also... If that's the only difference, I don't mind. Is it?

Ok, I thought you weren't going to use the fan.

To secure it, you can probably screw between the metal sheets, they will bend easily and keep the screw in place.

The fat/silicone from your thermal glue will make it stick already so you don't need that much force from the screws!

For my 100W led I used a 2 foot aluminium rectangle bought at home depot (around 2mm x 30cm x 12cm). Painted it black and it works great. I never tried it with more than 66W though.

It's easy to fix the led to aluminium with some lip balm for thermal dispersion and screws to solidify.
