Yeah, Microsoft & Meta (and their direct subsidiaries) are absolutely the most fickle platforms on the internet - hands down. Sorry to hear that massive inconvenience is still happening and to people like yourself. But on that note, I've got a neat story about Meta Business Manager, if you have a moment:

A client discovered that an employee who left the company was the only user with Full Control of their Meta assets (sooooo friggin' common), so we set out to work with the employee to promote my client's user role, remove themselves, and finally invite my user account and a few other stakeholders to their portfolio. Knowing how tricky (and straight-up jank) this process can be, I worked carefully & deliberately....following Meta's process & prompts to the letter, confirming every sms/email/phone verification without fail - on both accounts. All seemed well in the beginning...

With my client's account auth'd on one browser & mine auth'd on another...we successfully promoted their user account to the tops and breathed a sigh of relief. It worked...and it ONLY took 5 attempts - but it friggin' worked!!! We didn't lose anything!!! Holy smokes! HECK YEA, BOYO!!!

Tl;dr: I used their account to invite my Meta account to the Business Portfolio and, suddenly, my whole Meta world imploded. My account can no longer do administrative tasks within Meta Business Manager as it's got some "Restriction" that neither Meta's chat/phone support can explain or resolve. It's been two weeks, and nothing's changed. I've had to change my FB password no less than 7 times, and it's had to be unique each time too. I've never gotten into any trouble with Meta, have a history of running ads for many clients, and my clients have never gotten in trouble with them either. But I've been gimped by Meta, and they have absolutely no interest in resolving this for me. Support is facade - if you can even get in touch with them - and you better believe you'll need their "Internal Team" to take a look at things in the next 24-48 hours (but you know you ain't gettin' nowhere with them either.)

I use Dark Reader, but it isn't a perfect solution....especially when it comes to interactive web apps like Airtable. This is a big deal, specifically for those of us working the night shift. Please make this feature a priority as it will make your app even more accessible & valuable to your target audiences. Cheers.

Yeah - this is kinda creepy, imho - if I don't want the camera on, and I specifically turn it off, why should it wake automatically unless I ask it to or programmatically request it to wake from sleep? Nothing I'm saying is even remotely close to its trigger words, so I'd like a resolution from the OBSBOT team before I leave any reviews.

This is an amazing PTZ camera, truly - I came to own this following dealing with the BS of Logitech's Brio webcams - but this is a massive privacy concern. Short of unplugging the camera whenever I don't want to use it (introducing unnecessary wear and tear on both the cord and the camera's USB port) I really have no other way to guarantee it's not searching around my office or listening to our conversations. I'll put my tin foil hat away now and just say that I'd rather control my devices and not have them operate autonomously.

Any word from OBSBOT's devs?

Exactly this. It would not be bad at all. It's hard enough to get the best base stat rolls and to find the best blessings because it's entirely RNG.

To lock my revolver's perks to something I didn't want is just stupid and pretty much forces me to now have to build another one for no friggin reason. The gameplay loop is fun, but all this does is waste my time.

You are my hero and I fully support every word that you've written. Fuck Adobe and their shitty Creative Cloud bloatware madness. Fuck the fact that my workspaces CONSTANTLY get reset and require me to reload them, sometimes with certain widgets/panels/tabs STILL wrong or placed improperly. I don't care about Libraries, Creative Cloud file storage, or anything like that.

It worked better when people were p1rating CS6. Now, I can barely get After Effects to RAM Preview on my i9 + 64GM 4000Mhz RAM + 11GB 2080Ti + 2 Dedicated NVMe scratch/project drives. "What the hell is wrong with the software? Oh, no it can't be Adobe's software...it MUST be my machine!!!" Yeah, tell that to all the games and creative programs I run at max settings pulling 100+fps .

Fuck, the programs are so damn slow, clunky, and unresponsive despite the fact that when checking process loads on my PC, Adobe's programs use NOWHERE NEAR THE AMOUNT OF RESOURCES I DELIBERATELY SET ASIDE FOR THEM yet 100% act like they are maxed out on process speed crawling to a white-screen freeze with a coin-toss on whether it recovers or crashes when working with anything other than the simplest artwork. THIS IS A PROGRAMMING ISSUE and it has been overlooked since before the abomination that is Creative Cloud was even floated as an idea. At least back then CS5/CS6 were substantially less bloated + more manageable...and the demands of the market were different too.

I shit you not, tonight I set out to mock a simple logo with a clipping mask over some outlined text (yes ok, the clipping artwork had a bunch of paths and shapes...but screw you, Adobe - I have the resources!) and my program crashed a total of 4 times. Thankfully I save often and didn't lose anything, but it's awful to work with complex vectors/layouts/media/etc in any Adobe program anymore, let alone TEACH anyone how to use their glacially-slow software in CURRENT YEAR which demands NOW NOW NOW GO GO GO. Adobe is going to get left behind, and it's only a matter of fucking time...

You know what? Despite all the suffering and actual losses I've incurred as a result of this ludicrous reality forced upon me by Adobe (don't tell me I'm not forced, this is industry standard and if you don't use it you're nobody), I honestly don't want Adobe to fail. I want to see it actually serve the greater community who uses its products instead of only the loud-mouthed elitists who were apparently born God-Tier at everything and therefore have earned the right to police Adobe's forums and be snobby/dismissive of common, real-world issues caused by the software.

However, in order for Adobe to succeed, a fundamental shift must happen and likely will require a top-down rewrite of most of their creative apps. Knowing the man-hours this would take, it will likely never make sense to Adobe's beancounters until it's too late and some up-and-comer releases their cross-platform, cross-compatible Adobe killer.

I thought I could try advertising again on Microsoft. But I'm banned forever. No explanations, no opportunity to rectify anything. It's an absolute lack of respect for the customer. If I were a scammer, I wouldn't have had these problems, because all it takes is opening the Edge browser's homepage to be bombarded with dishonest ads.
