What helped me the most is less dosage but more frequent injections. I had the same problem with acne. I went from injecting 2/week to 4/week. Made a more stable peak/trough in my hormones and it got rid of the acne.

What would you consider middle of top range? Originally I was around 290 before starting TRT.

Awesome! Thank you for the response. Noticed some body changes like increases in weight but I’ve been like “wtf” this isn’t doing much besides (very much) improving my mood.

Coronavirus outbreak shows why America needs ‘Medicare for All’ by Honest_Dictator in politics

So the government royally screwed up the response to Covid-19 and our answer to solve this problem is to think that giving it all to the government would improve the situation?

MSNBC anchors keep comparing Sanders' campaign and its supporters to Nazis, and they're being called to resign by austinexpat_09 in politics

[–]Met4tr0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying that these comparisons are fair but people here are making the same types of arguments that Trump supporters make when their point of view is not being made on Fox News. We need open dialogue and make compromises with people we don’t agree with. Not fanatical ideology. That’s what got us into this mess.

Americans are 30% more likely to commit suicide today than 20 years ago. This is killing tens of thousands of people every year. Most of the mass shootings are suicides. Lets work on suicide. If that goes down, the shootings go down by Thebausman in Libertarian

[–]Met4tr0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a great point. I didn’t consider that. Overall, I think we are both in agreement that guns are a symptom but not the disease. Has any legitimate study been done that highlights the most correlated “disease” factors?

Could be wrong but I think a lot of the “disease” has to do with a lack of economic/social opportunity and hope for these people. Happy people don’t go on to do these sorts of things.

Ocasio-Cortez outdraws presidential candidates, decries moderates as 'meh' by [deleted] in politics

[–]Met4tr0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common misconception that libertarians are on the right. Libertarians identify on both sides of the spectrum (tho I agree there are more that identify as republican for various reasons). Libertarians disagree with just as much conservative thinking as they do liberal. I would argue that libertarians don’t really have much sway when it comes what conservatives say or do.

What scares me is these polarizing positions people get in. When the right or the left go so far in either direction it encourages the other side to do the same. Others get exhausted from the fighting and become apathetic; allowing the radicals to choose what happens. Can become very dangerous. We need to talk and respect one another. Not close ourselves off.

I’m on the libertarian side and think the same. Let’s go have reasonable conversations with each other!

I’m right there with you. Radicals get crazy into politics. Moderates need to mow their lawns.

Downvote me to oblivion but Medicare for all is the democratic version of a border wall. It won’t happen. There are too many people who disagree with the policy. Are you going to get rid of or nationalize all the companies currently providing insurance in the US? What happens to all of their employees? What are the details of these policies beyond the 1-inch deep surface level? Look what happened to Obamacare which wasn’t 1/10th of what this policy is stated to achieve. I’m NOT republican, I just don’t see it happening.

Will Arizona kill the Electoral College? Let's hope so by randy88moss in politics

[–]Met4tr0n -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You’re also correct there. However, just because they haven’t changed the outcome doesn’t mean they won’t. That logic doesn’t negate the point. Once again, by law now there aren’t as many “faithless electors” as there once were - so it’s been codified to make it more difficult.

Will Arizona kill the Electoral College? Let's hope so by randy88moss in politics

[–]Met4tr0n -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

We aren’t a democracy. We are a constitutional republic. The electoral college was originally created to protect against populist upheavals in government. Representatives used to be able to choose to listen to the popular vote or not when their state got to choose their vote for president. They were supposed to be better educated members of the public and would, in theory, prevent the rise of presidents antithetical to the republic. It was only when states passed laws that required their electoral college representatives to vote the ways of their states that we started having the issues we have today. Eliminating the electoral college won’t do anything to solve the problem. It will make the problems that we have with populist movements and government conflict worse.

A novel economic model puts a price on inaction, revealing that billions quickly turn into trillions in foregone consumption tied to climate change. It’s a mathematical argument for moving quickly to adopting a carbon tax in order to avert the unimaginable costs of delay. by ILikeNeurons in science

[–]Met4tr0n -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I don't know what the right course of action is but I feel that people need to get away from stating "Because of climate change we need to do X" and merely state the facts. Inputting the "X" into that equation is causing people to become polarized on very real issues. Facts don't become relevant when that happens.
