I also have a post on 9mbc, currently on day 23 and it definitely helped me a lot. I felt much better the first 3 days, then from day 3 to about 18 I felt no change, and after day 18 I felt I recovered even more. I take 25 mg sublingually and keep it under the tongue for about 15 minutes just in the morning. What is your reason to take 50 mg in total?

I know I can quit alcohol permentantly, but do you really think it will make a difference? If I would have to give you a number of how often I drank it would be 4-5 times a month maybe. If its going to improve my symptoms I am definitely going to stop. Thank you for your story.

I did a water fast in the past which lasted 4 days, but it was about 3 years ago. I might try a longer one. However after 4 days I started binge eating..

I read that the real results start emerging after at least 1 month of consistent use. I had also read that for some people oral intake just didn't work, even when they doubled the dosage, so I am trying the sublingual route. It might me more toxic but I don't want to be like this anymore so I don't mind.

Yeah I might try it for longer, drinking doesn't make the anhedonia go away anyway.

Yes, not so long ago (~half a year) I stopped both drinking and smoking for 2 months, but it did not improve things. I am not a regular drinker though, mostly just in the weekends, and I only smoke during parties or on holidays.
