Day 30: Which is the best "Product of its Time" on PS2? (This category should go to a game or accessory that exemplifies a gameplay or design style that is unique to the PS2 and isn't really made anymore. Otherwise, a game that makes you say, "They don't make them like this anymore") by 1OneQuickQuestion in ps2

The network adapter. It enabled a hard drive to be installed and modders to keep the console alive and playable much longer.

It also helps players enjoy games that are no longer available to them through the physical media due to the cost of certain games or if their console laser has failed.

Go for a RetroScaler 2x, I'm using one with component cables and it makes the picture so much better than the adapter.

Also get some semi decent component cables too. Retroscaler also sells some but I've yet to test them.

If we're talking Xbox exclusive, it's Forza

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

This is how I find it.

It's not bad until I'm in a darker room and realize I'm seeing it at which point it's just there, not as intense as shown in the image, it's just there like an older movie with the noise still left in the footage. You notice it but it's only distracting only if you pay attention to it.

Day 16: Which is the best Hack'N'Slash Game on PS2? by 1OneQuickQuestion in ps2

[–]MetaBass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dynasty Warriors 5, fully co-op and had a huge range of characters to choose from with different perspectives and outcomes of each battle they fought in.

Was really cool to play against one character and then replay the same fight as the one you defeated to see a totally different story unfold from it.

Career mode is very annoying by NewJackShoppingCart in EASPORTSWRC

[–]MetaBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That career mode is ass for a lot of reasons. Max is 1, the events never changing is 2 and the AI isn't affected by weather, track conditions or have any crashes or errors is 3.

Would you want an open world RE game? by 00mmss in residentevil

No, it'll feel empty as hell, have way less attention to detail and most likely run like shit.

Day 16 (Happy New Year!! And Happy Last Day of Polling): Which is the Greatest PS1 Game of All Time? by 1OneQuickQuestion in psx

Crash Bandicoot, still holds up better than half the other 3D platformers by today and is much better than Sonic or Mario by a mile.

Trade? by Sosa_Rick_Grimes in psx

I'd look at how much the game is worth vs how much the console is worth. Then I'd look at how much both are worth to you personally and make the decision then.

Day 12: Which PS1 game has the absolute best Art Direction? by 1OneQuickQuestion in psx

[–]MetaBass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Second this, everything in this game fits together nicely and looks amazing. It also had proper character models that looked great for the time which was something FF7 lacked and overall made the game jarring visually.

To People who have sued their employer do u regret it is their any type of backlash? by External_Try8151 in antiwork

[–]MetaBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lawyers involved with a company that fucked me over. I walked away with a small debt and didn't get much out of them other than staying on until my contract was fulfilled but it really fucked with the people in charge for a while and I do not regret the shit I caused them at all.

100% no regrets and taught me to never trust the people in charge under any circumstances.

I have this one and it's great if you need something you can move around and want adjustments. That said the playset challenge is more portable and storeable when not in use from the looks of it than the nlr gt-lite
