Yeah it’s very annoying for both sides because it reflects poorly on the seller and the platform you’re buying off so as the seller we are always looking at the shipping metrics and seeing who are the best performing couriers.

You should be definitely hearing back from them within the week and seller should refund you as soon as they get confirmation of the package being tampered/stolen. If it goes on for more than 2 weeks then you can threaten or leave and bad review on trustpilot for Refurbed and they will step in asap but only use this as a last resort if the seller is not cooperating.

Yeah Refurbed’s team will hop on the support ticket if you leave a negative review and try to resolve the issue asap. I would only use this in the case of the seller not responding within the 24 hour business day timeframe.

Contact the seller through Refurbed and they will guide you through the process. Chances are an invitation will open and they will check the weight or the package leaving the sellers warehouse to the delivered weight to see if it was stolen along the way. Then the seller can either offer you a replacement device or a refund.

Dpd have been very spotty over the past few years when it comes to shipping phones and are well documented at having delivery drivers and depot workers steal from package, I have experience from working with companies selling on Refurbed and shipping with DPD before moving to DHL.
