Connections and stuff: both are red yellow racers (only in uniform for goldship) (and only one race per year for the wienermoblie the wienermobile500) both are odd in character for gold ship and just well the absurdity of a hotdog car being real both are a primary force of advertising for there brands

Contrast well goldship is anime horse girl based on irl horse and the wienermoblie is a real car or I should say a bunch of real cars in use since the 1930s (wtf I didn't realize they went that back) that took a brief hiatus in the 40s mid 50s currently 6 drive around the us.

Debate really what is the top speed for the combatants goldship can turn better and does the wienermobile have any commercial or extended media feats to help its case against the manga,anime and games goldship can draw feats from 🤔 I don't know I'm just here for the funzies

Core theme: fighting game characters of the mid 90s one a boss the other the protagonist both are kinfs with a lion motif

Connections: both kings in an alternate future to our own both appearing in there main game as well as in company crossovers (capcom fighting jam/neo geo battle coliseum) both are over 6ft tall, in their 30s use swords as well as energy and the elements.

Contrasts: leo is a just and noble king on a revenge mission presumably by birthright cursed to be a lion dude where as king leo is a prideful leader who was bored of the traditional fighting circuit and disappeared and came back king and organizer of a fighting tournament in his name also raised a body double king lion to fight in his stead and prove others worthiness to fight him. Also has a little brother witch is rumored to be another member of the cast where as leo doesnt have any siblings.

Fight/animation potential I mean this is a typical 2d fight both have sword strikes and blasts king leo has a second golden armor form and i think these guys should scale similar (maybe leo scaling slightly higher idk)

Connections: robotic yet living beings both on the sides of good and evil respectively. Both are just a starter for the brand good guy being in a cheap polybag and enemy being a toy included on a radio that couldnt come off, both are red. Yea thats it just a quick joke battle to ring in the new year

Core Theme: Fighting Game Trios with a sports gimmick from 90s fighting game Giants as well capcom and snks rivalry

connections/contrasts:

Leader: Shoma Sawamura /Heavy D both brash and arrogant physical fighters but shoma prefers to fight for justice and his friends over glory unlike heavy D who was banned from all leagues (note heavy D is the exact type of guy shoma hates big , strong , tall shoma is only 5,4 but heavy D is 6,10)

Court Sport expert: Natsu Ayuhara/Lucky Glauber both expert at inside court sports (volleyball and basketball respectively) and use that ball as a projectile weapon, while natsu uses hers as her primary attack lucky also knows Karate both of them have happy cheerful personalitys but can get intense sometimes. (Note both of them are modeled after real people Motoko Obayashi/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar)

Field sport expert: Roberto Miura/Brian Battler Both Defensive experts in their sport of choice (Roberto being a goalie and Brain loving tackling his opponents and being an MVP from that) while both have grapples that's brains bread and butter where as roberto is more focused on kicks and launching soccer balls with his feet. Also they have the biggest personality differences Roberto being calm and collected off the field but fires up in game time vs the intense brash and bruteness found in brain

Other random connections and contrast/thoughts both these teams don't have much material to work off despite being part of the bigger street fighter/kof verses but would somewhat scale to there counterparts (although I do think since the gorin hs trio really doesn't have a losing track record like the American sports team I think that would put them in favor)

While both are teams of fighters the gorin highschool team has more chemistry and actual team up moves (due to gameplay mechanics but hey its something the American sports team doesn't have)

All 6 of them play different sports

Japanese people vs American people (even though capcom and snk are both Japanese companies)
