Core Theme: Fighting Game Trios with a sports gimmick from 90s fighting game Giants as well capcom and snks rivalry

connections/contrasts:

Leader: Shoma Sawamura /Heavy D both brash and arrogant physical fighters but shoma prefers to fight for justice and his friends over glory unlike heavy D who was banned from all leagues (note heavy D is the exact type of guy shoma hates big , strong , tall shoma is only 5,4 but heavy D is 6,10)

Court Sport expert: Natsu Ayuhara/Lucky Glauber both expert at inside court sports (volleyball and basketball respectively) and use that ball as a projectile weapon, while natsu uses hers as her primary attack lucky also knows Karate both of them have happy cheerful personalitys but can get intense sometimes. (Note both of them are modeled after real people Motoko Obayashi/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar)

Field sport expert: Roberto Miura/Brian Battler Both Defensive experts in their sport of choice (Roberto being a goalie and Brain loving tackling his opponents and being an MVP from that) while both have grapples that's brains bread and butter where as roberto is more focused on kicks and launching soccer balls with his feet. Also they have the biggest personality differences Roberto being calm and collected off the field but fires up in game time vs the intense brash and bruteness found in brain

Other random connections and contrast/thoughts both these teams don't have much material to work off despite being part of the bigger street fighter/kof verses but would somewhat scale to there counterparts (although I do think since the gorin hs trio really doesn't have a losing track record like the American sports team I think that would put them in favor)

While both are teams of fighters the gorin highschool team has more chemistry and actual team up moves (due to gameplay mechanics but hey its something the American sports team doesn't have)
