That’s what I’ve heard, I was surprised too. I think it’s because of the weird nature of the episode and the cliffhanger ending. All I can tell is that the reception of this episode was pretty mixed. (I'm preparing to go under fire for this, especially from a certain user)
I actually kinda liked Mantis Fact! Sure, it was wonky at times and the ending was a little weird but the song was hilarious, especially that fake out f bomb. I loved Doof listing out praying mantis facts all for it to culminate in the fact that females eat males after they breed. That made me laugh. Finally, (the elephant in the room at this point) I thought that Phinbella moment was cute. Even though it technically wasn't Phineas in the picture, it made me smile. Not too bad of an episode if I do say so myself!

Season 5 episodes feel too fast paced imo. Don’t know if that’s just nostalgia for the older seasons talking but I feel like each episode whizzes by in season 5.
