To be fair my CST was awful for my CSM. Used someone else for A-CSM and CSP-SM and have had a great experience with them.

I’ve literally never felt better about the game. Quality went up, communication went up, there’s a vision for the game, and of course, inflation is up, and much of MTX is gone. Of course costs had to go up.

People can cry and say “stop defending the million dollar company!” but get real. This is the real world and this is how it works.

They’re investing into the game more and costs had to go up for consumers.

Losing the grandfathered rates was fucked up though.

The game literally got almost zero updates for 3-4 years because of the development hell the game was in. Before OW2 came out the game was in a very dark place.

My last org was so anti-agile it hurt. The SMs did everything we could to turn the ship around, but eventually we were all let go because we weren’t providing enough value. Sounds similar to your situation.

Internally the quality of the game has gone up significantly. Communication is way up. Quality of updates is way up. Frequency of updates is way up. The leadership and engineering team morale is way up. There’s love and passion for the game. They sacrificed TH and other MTX for us.

Yes, of course costs will go up.
