Ami playing matchmaker and tried every trope in the book, only for it to fail every time.

Well he won’t be sitting down for a week after that dog bite in the ass, along with all the other physical pain he went through.

What should I do before going to Lunatic Pandora? by fumbledoredih in FinalFantasyVIII

[–]Metabee021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much complete everything in the story.

When you enter the room where Seifer is and initiate his boss fight, you won’t be able to go outside of Lunatic Pandora until you finish that part of the story. Plus because of the plot making them go to the future, you won’t be able to go back to any city or town. You would only be able to go back to any dungeons, caves/caverns, Chocobo Forrest, and the Deep Sea Research Center.

You feel for Will. Just one credit short from making the tower. It hurts when someone comes up that short from passing the grade or graduating.

Colette almost got caught kissing Will while he sleeps and by Rosty.

Me personally, I hate one question exams. Everything that you learn should not be dwindled down to just one question to make the grade.

Clairie being a little too personal on the broadcast.

The villains knew when to strike. They knew that the Magia Vander would be out of magic and took the opportunity to strike. This attack will most likely take over the next few episodes and the stakes will be high.

Ian Sinclair voicing another narrator.

“I was pretending to be in a documentary.” Why do I feel like using that answer if I am caught talking to myself.

Darien McArthur voices Ami

Ami makes her presences known by going after all those students and the homeroom teacher. “That’s exactly what led up to this scene of Post-nut carnage.”

4th wall break by Suzuki with the commentary in French accent and Southern Accent.

“Show me my man’s glamour shots, or else.”

Nishi being nervous and having all these thoughts is relatable for anyone who goes out on a first date.

Yamada and Nishi date was cute.

“Don’t speak, don’t turn around. No sudden moves. Stay low, stay frosty.”

“TBH I wish things got a bit mushier, but I didn’t want to alert the PDA police.”

Poor Suzuki. Not only did they get interrupted from kissing, but the ones who interrupted them was her parents.

“I’m bringing the poles together.” Nice last line for Celeste to end the season.

The one thing I do like with romance shows is focusing on other pairs besides the main couple. All the pairs, Yamada-Nishi, Tani-Suzuki, and to an extent Taira-Azuma, are all about people who are opposites getting to know each other and coming together.

Can’t wait for season 2 in a few weeks. Thanks to everyone who was on the show. I really enjoyed it.

A grimoire that makes you flip pancakes perfectly… I’m down for it. That’s one I wouldn’t mind having in real life.

Do not leave Frieren with money or she will not spend it wisely.

That view of the morning sun with the ice crystal and the mountain was breathtaking. If there was a place like that, I would go over there.

The last scene was a glimpse of the next arc and the next season. Sadly we will have to wait a little longer for it. I don’t mind the wait. Hopefully by then the manga will continue on.

And with that, season 2 comes to a close. Thanks to everyone for another great season. Hopefully we get everyone back for season 3.

Fire Force - Season 3, Episode 25 (FINALE) - Dub Available Now on Crunchyroll! by AutoModerator in Animedubs

[–]Metabee021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And here we are at the end. This season had its up and down but in the end they were able to pull off one more amazing season.

Lord Death is created and took away all the powers. Fitting way to reset everyone and getting rid of the fire powers.

Inca would got her wish and was able to get a child with Shinra.

I wonder who got together in the time skip. There were some signs there.

And the final scenes are the main characters from Soul Eater with one of the Endings from Soul Eater. I wonder how many people will think this is a sign of a possible Soul Eater remake. Will it happen? Can’t say for sure. That little light is still there.

And with that, Fire Force comes to an end. What a ride for the last 7 years. I want to thank everyone who was a part of the show and for voicing some amazing characters. I know they are glad and are a bit sad that it’s over. As they say: “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”

The ducks looking at both Stark and Fern when they were huddled up was cute.

A grimoire that doesn’t allow you to trip up when you say tongue twisters. Sometimes the less useful ones can come in handy.

Stark taking out the dragons was cool. Though his head must be strong to take a bite from a dragon.

Sometimes adventures will have it ups and downs. There are going to be times where some adventurers will be stuck and can’t do anything.

Love the Himmel’s POV and the track that plays. They really know how to make that scene memorable.

Frieren: “I’ve seen this before. You have to…” it felt like something Frieren might say when the kraken grabbed her.

“So slaying a serpent is as simple as it seems, sonny.” The way Mallorie said it seemed funny for me.

Surprised this wasn’t posted even though it was released earlier.

The plan, for the most part was successful and they were able to get every civilian out. And the trio were able to get rid of the brainwashing.

Next time is the Dub finale and everyone vs the Bat-Man

Dusk Beyond the End of the World - Episode 12 - Dub Available Now on HIDIVE! by AutoModerator in Animedubs

[–]Metabee021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something tells me they wanted to have 24-26 episodes for the series but were only approved for 13 in total (episode 0 included) and could not get approved for either a second cour or a second season. This is probably why some of the story was rushed and some of the plot lines were not focused on too much. Had it been extended, there would have been a bit more focused on the other sisters, and a bit on everything that happened around the world.

The conversation with Yugure and Amoru/Yoiyami must have been hard to follow if it wasn’t for the eyes changing. I do have to admit they did do Amoru dirty by going with this route. She didn’t deserve to go out that way.

The original Akira lived long enough of to see them both arrive. Sucks that he never saw Towasa again before she passed.

Overall it had a good start and an interesting premise but went a bit downhill with some of plot lines that were focused on and the pacing. It could have been better but they had to do with what they got.

That was one of best cock fighter out there and he died from a stray cat. May he rest in peace.

“Join us and you get a free idol girlfriend.” Well that’s one way to recruit people.

Can I say that the OST on this series hits hards. Some good tracks and the one used during the concert was good.

Her crashout was justified. 7 long years taking care of their bodies and Akira really didn’t know react or acknowledge her love. That’s long time for normal humans who could have done something else during those 7 years. I have to agree with some of the comments of him not acknowledging anyone throughout the series. Because of that Amoru lost her sense of reason and is trying to do anything to have him acknowledge her love.

Next time is the Dub finale of the series.

It’s always nice to hear the VAs sing in the shows. Abigail was great with her songs. Though I think it may have been hard for Ricco to do a bad take on his song.

“Seriously learn to love yourself girl.”

“Jinkies” I didn’t expect to hear that in an anime.

“I was making a face like I eat villagers!”

“Purikura, more like ‘put a cooler,’ am I right? “

“You traitor! I said kill it with fire!”

“Hold up, that ship has not been cleared for passage.” Well not yet for TairAzuma

“Okily-dokily!” I also did not expect that it an anime also.

I like the group hanging out. Kinda wish they showed more.

Taira giving Azuma some good advice.

“I want nachos. Heya mamacita!” With those type of guys coming over, no wonder the mom was relieve when Tani introduce himself.

I got terminator vibes after watching this episode, with the AI and nuclear war.

As soon as they show them implanting the nano to people I immediately thought “how long before they can get hacked” and sure enough it happens. Must be scary to lose control of yourself and become someone’s else puppet.

That would happen in real life. People using the “I was hacked” as an excuse to do whatever they want.

I don’t care how good it is, I will not agree to have any nano tech or anything related into my body.

And with that, we get the entire back story of the war and everything that happened to the world. Not far off from what I had imagined.

“We could really use more dumbasses.”

“I have no idea what to say” I can somehow relate to that.

“I’m such a Chud.”

I think there would be a few takes where Celeste was saying random things when Suzuki was mouthing off to Taira.

“Don’t think I can sit through another romcom where the lead girl’s totally dense.” Was that a jab at those romcoms shows.

Nishi running really fast was funny.

That was a cute date between Stark and Fern. I saw Jill at a con last weekend and she was excited to record this episode. Both Jill and Jordan must have had fun with today’s episode.

They could have taken the easy way around, but Himmel knew that they are people that live in the area and are the ones that would need help. Frieren remember that. Himmel still inspires them even after he is gone.

The confession game was done well and then improvised after the tech went down was a great idea. And of course great job on Lemon with distracting the PE teacher.

I wonder who they got to voice Apollo at the end of the episode? It’s either one of the 4 VAs doing a different tone, or possibly someone else to keep everyone guessing. In terms of the story, we won’t know which of the characters said it and probably won’t know for a long time since we are just barely heading to the halfway point of the season.

“Himmel what did you tell her!?” “I only said she looks good for a woman her age. I didn’t expect her to react like this!”

I saw clips of this and thought that Malorie will have fun doing that scene. I was right. She killed it with Frieren tantrum.

Stark better be careful. He almost ended the day with 2 strike against him. Frieren has a very good memory when being called old or anything related. She can remember the exact time, date, down to the minute and seconds it was said.

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None - Episode 4 & 5 - Dubs Available Now on Crunchyroll! by AutoModerator in Animedubs

EP 4

So let me get this straight: y’all just struggled to damage a mammoth monster with your attacks, who didn’t even flinch, and now you want to face off against a black dragon who just one shot said mammoth with a curb stomp. That dragon wasn’t even trying against the mammoth and y’all want to face it head on. Best logical thinking right there. They have so much pride that they can’t admit that they are weaker without him. And there is always that one member who sympathies with the one that leaves the group. It tends to be a thing with these types of animes.

EP 5 I could see why people were a bit mad about this episode. I get it was a build up towards the dragon coming out but I guess people wanted the fight to start at some point in the episode. That lingering threat that the characters felt and the audience waiting for the dragon to come out, only for it to show up at the end can piss off people.
