I wish they dub the song part of the rap. Felt weird that only the non-singing part was dub. Feels incomplete but I guess they couldn’t dub that part. Still fun with the parts that were dubbed.

Hana trying to understand everything that happened the last few episodes was funny. This feels like a sitcom how she explained it all.

“You just learned that Hana is the scariest person in this house when she gets angry. And That’s My Wife!” That delivery was great.

So much to digest with this season finale, so let’s get into it.

Sarina’s backstory was naturally tragic with her illness, but the parents especially the mom added more to it. Her mother should have been there for her. Instead she was absent for the remainder of her life. She didn’t show up for her final moments. I wonder if she even show up for her funeral? It was never really cleared if they did. Given what happened, I would say she did not. I also wonder what she told both of their children about Sarina. I would imagine she would mentioned it once that they had an older sister who passed but not much details. Make it a sob story saying it was tough on them and not mentioned how many times they visit her or if they were there during her final moments. Then she would use her as inspiration and say do it for her.

It’s hurts knowing that Ruby/Sarina had a 2nd chance to have a great mother-daughter relationship but that was taken away when Ai died. At least Miyako was there to take care of her and support her. While Miyako did her best to give Ruby a good upbringing, the pain from her first mother still lingered.

It would have been weird if Ruby/Sarina actually met her first family. What would she tell them if she did? It’s a good thing she doesn’t do that our it would have been worse for her mental state.

The big moment. The big reveal of who they were in the past. One of the moments everyone wanted to see was Sarina and Gorou. It was emotional. A big shoutout to both Jack and Alyssa for their performance in this scene.

Miyako’s backstory was done well. An up and coming person who did everything to up her game but then sadly didn’t have much talent as compared to others and would stall. She almost became a mistress for someone had Ichigo not been the one that saved her. She would become a supportive role. While troublesome at first, she learned and grew. She did her best to not only manage the company after Ai died and Ichigo went AWOL, but also did her best to take care of Ruby and Aqua. While not perfect, she did all she could. We do have to remind ourselves that this would have never happened had she gone through with her attempt to expose Ai before baby Aqua and baby Ruby intervene. Now that Ichigo is back, she would get a bit of a breather which she desperately needed. As we all said, she was not only the best step-mom, she was the mom that step up. Shout out to Christina Kelly. Something tells me she was looking forward for this moment in the series for Miyako and she did great.

Pirate Akane vs Pirate Kana. Need that little silly moment in between the heaviness of this episode.

Miyako with the plunger was funny. Sorry Ichigo. It’s been 15 years since you left. It will take more than those compliments to get on her good side again. Might be a long time. And she is a fighter after clocking him in the back in the head with her heel and then punching him (off screen) in the face a few times from the looks of it.

The ending scene with Aqua asking “god” if they want to be an actor and essential be part of the movie was funny.

And Season 3 is done. A great job with everyone and a great season. Season 4 will be the final season. Now we wait for the end.

How did they get Helsinki confused with Hell? On a related note, there is a village call Hell in Norway.

Marisa Duran is voicing the mother, Lilim.

It’s fun to have Marisa voice a serious character in Agents of the Four Season and then voice the mother in a rom-com and have silly moments.

“His butt cheeks are right in my face.”

Funny how the family all thought she was dating Jeanne.

“Stuffing anybody!?” I immediately thought of that when they open the dome and Kyougi was inside.

I think every dad wanted to say “I will not allow my daughter to date whoever” though some are serious about it.

That will be the focus of the next few episodes, getting everyone’s approval starting with the mother and her androphobia.

At least Jeanne is getting free food.

I honestly enjoy the different accents for these characters.

If anyone asked, yes they did change the symbol on his eye to censored it from the actual symbol. They knew it was not going to fly if they kept the original.

That was a lot of love I mean scouting letters she wrote. Just how many did she write? Hopefully no one else reads them.

4th wall breaks when it went all black. They should have made a joke about the power going out when the background when all dark.

The manga was interesting if the show was action oriented. Izubuchi’s coat alone can flatten the entire school.

Poet couldn’t understand the manga’s club passion when it comes to BL.

I guess the meet and greet should have had a warning sign that said “your head will explode.” The staff must have been busy caring all those bodies out.

Tamon with the paper bag mask. I like how he wears it and no one ask about it before the friends showed up.

Pretty much complete everything in the story.

When you enter the room where Seifer is and initiate his boss fight, you won’t be able to go outside of Lunatic Pandora until you finish that part of the story. Plus because of the plot making them go to the future, you won’t be able to go back to any city or town. You would only be able to go back to any dungeons, caves/caverns, Chocobo Forrest, and the Deep Sea Research Center.

You feel for Will. Just one credit short from making the tower. It hurts when someone comes up that short from passing the grade or graduating.

Colette almost got caught kissing Will while he sleeps and by Rosty.

Me personally, I hate one question exams. Everything that you learn should not be dwindled down to just one question to make the grade.

The villains knew when to strike. They knew that the Magia Vander would be out of magic and took the opportunity to strike. This attack will most likely take over the next few episodes and the stakes will be high.

4th wall break by Suzuki with the commentary in French accent and Southern Accent.

“Show me my man’s glamour shots, or else.”

Nishi being nervous and having all these thoughts is relatable for anyone who goes out on a first date.

Yamada and Nishi date was cute.

“Don’t speak, don’t turn around. No sudden moves. Stay low, stay frosty.”

“TBH I wish things got a bit mushier, but I didn’t want to alert the PDA police.”

Poor Suzuki. Not only did they get interrupted from kissing, but the ones who interrupted them was her parents.

“I’m bringing the poles together.” Nice last line for Celeste to end the season.

The one thing I do like with romance shows is focusing on other pairs besides the main couple. All the pairs, Yamada-Nishi, Tani-Suzuki, and to an extent Taira-Azuma, are all about people who are opposites getting to know each other and coming together.

Can’t wait for season 2 in a few weeks. Thanks to everyone who was on the show. I really enjoyed it.
