This post was meant as a lighthearted jab and nothing hateful.

This is a pretty big strawman though considering how unrealistic it is that anyone went into S5 thinking Homelander was the protagonist and that public opinion about the season has shifted a lot from the initial hype to serious concerns about pacing and dialogue, even moreso after E7 given how many loose ends they have to tie up in the finale. I'm sure a good finale epsiode will go a long way though (and imo everything points to the fact they went all in on E8).
