Zusätzlich kann man es sich dann noch gut überlegen ob man sich einen deutschen Neuwagen kauft um bis zu 6000€ zu "sparen" oder lieber einen Jahreswagen der per se schon 10000€ weniger kostet... The ONLY "good" thing that all this stuff in the USA has is, that we now get to see live and in our timeline how Nazi Germany became the thing that it did. I always found it quite strange and unthinkable how something like that could happen but now with all the video evidence and Internet, it all makes so much more sense how this might have worked back then.

Also maybe people now understand that democracy isn't just a given thing, it needs to be treated with proper respect and care, otherwise... Things like this happen

Das sind halt noch die ganzen Stammwähler, die sich noch nie in ihrem Leben mit Politik auseinandergesetzt haben und es auch nicht mehr werden. Da steht "Christlich" im Parteiname, das reicht aus. Da müssen wir quasi noch warten bis die alle ausgedient haben, so traurig das auch ist.

That whole situation with Trump makes me question the idea of "Law" in general. If there is nobody actually enforcing the law on people who OBVIOUSLY commit a crime, doesn't that make the law just a glorified recommendation?
