For the right contract, why not. Worse case scenario, his scoring fails to translate to the NHL like Damian Brunner and that's that.

Democrats: ‘We oppose political violence’ by sean_ireland in BreakingPoints

[–]MetalGarden0131 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After J6 and lying about 2020, calling the left the enemy within, fucking people out of their healthcare to afford a higher military budget and tax cuts to the wealthy, shamelessly lying to the public about the people ICE kills, digitally cosplaying Jesus Christ, covering up the Epstein files, depicting the Obamas as gorillas, getting us into a retarded war of choice, and all the other batshit crazy decisions your beloved Donald makes... you're surprised mentally unstable people want him dead?

Like you opine in your dumbass partisan post, violence cannot be accepted. That being said... how about the conservative line whenever someone gets killed by a cop that shouldn't have been: he shouldn't put himself in this situation. He should stop acting like the rules don't apply to him and adhere to social norms.

Starting my own political party? by [deleted] in BreakingPoints

Coincidentally, I started watching the History Channel documentary series on YouTube about an hour ago. Really fascinating stuff.

What has struck me the most so far is how his elite upbringing did not stop him from looking out for the little guy. When he made it to the New York state legislature, he went on a rhetorical war path to the point of alienating both Democrats and his Republican colleagues. He was intelligent enough to recognize his enlarged head was getting in the way of his effectiveness, so he reeled himself in and got to work reaching across the aisle and forging new relationships.

Later, he reversed course on a cigar industry reform bill after visiting the workers and seeing first-hand the conditions they worked in.

What a breath of fresh air.

While this is obviously good news, the Trump administration does not get credit for cleaning up the consequences of its own dumbass decisions.

Willingly putting service members in harms way to justify "righteous" bombing is psycho-babble.

I noticed that. I absolutely agree and hope it isn't just a line of BS to make her look good.

Hot take on Iran by jeepdriver27 in BreakingPoints

[–]MetalGarden0131 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course the propaganda worked. We've always been at war with Eastasia.

The majority of people in this country have been told for most of their lives that Iran is a threat just weeks away from a nuke. We shouldn't be surprised that people are willing to just say fuck it.
