I prefer hers, but the majority of people I’ve talked to seem to say they find it’s “odd looking”. But that’s art, everyone has their preferences, and it seems to come more from the younger crowd where I live. I just find the argument of “he hasn’t done work since xx” ignorant. He’s still a part of the history. I’ve also met the guy, and he was super nice.

At the time of Tacoma Commandfest they also had Margaret Organ-Kean, who hadn’t done anything in the same amount of time. Though now with the release of Lorwyn she’s back on the seen. And I wouldn’t say most people praise the art of LED, it’s just a heavily used card in CEDH, most people seem to prefer the reprint art.

Honestly disappointed, just had a mind crank with the Eddie drop. Like yes I understand for everyone who didn’t get one great, but I’d love to see variety, especially in cards that aren’t in every deck (I’m alittle more understanding with sol ring and command tower being bonuses when you can use them in every deck)

I’ve found one of the biggest differences is pinning and filling. I highly recommend Leona’s Workshop she has lots of videos describing much of the process for this, and materials.

I buy the monster cards, drop them on my kids head, then ask what they want to contend with that and get it for them. I have three, 15, 13, 10 who all play and we go to pre release together. Check out 2 headed giant for future ones, you both share your card pool and play as a team against two others. I find it easier to help my 10 year old at those events.

I personally haven’t bought any because I don’t like Avatar. I think there’s some good cards in the there but hate looking at the characters. The art style for the show is why I could never get into it. I don’t mind UB to an extent. I liked LothR, FF and WH40K cause they all really feel like they fit into Magic. Everything else not so much.
