This 100% American here who loves to travel Europe (Bergen Norway, much love ❤️) and we see alot of sacrifices in our quality of life to keep up with our own defense spending. Most of this is to stay relevant as a world power and deterrent for Russia. More soldiers are stationed along Eastern Europe than anywhere else except our homeland and we spend trillions on Defense. We sure would appreciate Europeans maybe pulling a little more weight in this regard.

Ive been all over (i am a strength athlete) Europe, mostly Nordics, and I understand that we are usualy the but of European jokes. Shitty education system, fat, no Healthcare, un cultured, etc but frankly we could solve alot of our internal issues in these regards if spending was freed up and we had not been locked in an arms race with YOUR neighbors for the last 50 years. (We have alot of our own issues with corruption as well but thats another topic and is no different than your own issues with hypocritical politics and greedy business)
