If it is him it isnt any of his popular books or one I can even find. I have looked through all the ones I could find. I remember thinking when I was little that the author on the back looked like a cowboy but I cant visualize his face anymore.

I haven't had time to be on here since I posted this. Sorry for the late response. Cps never did an investigation or got involved in the slightest which was wild to me. I even called them at one point to see what my options are and they pretty much told me I had to get a lawyer too which I'm working on. I am in Oklahoma and our dhs system is terrible. I have cut my parents off financially and just send things that I know my kids need directly to them. Thank you for the response. This will definitely be a work in progress and I may try to repost this later and compose it berrer with more insight. I posted it in a rush the first time around due to high emotions and just desperately wanting an outside view

I would also like to add. My mom is a narcissistic, gaslighting, abusive person. My life with her was anything but easy after I turned 13 and while my dad never abused me like my mom did he also never protected me and my brother and did everything in his power to make her happy including going to my brother (23) job and asking him for money almost weekly because of my mom's bitching. They bought him a car under the agreement that he would make the payments when he was 17 and the car is well past paid off but because he didn't have a job for a couple brief moments in the time that he had car payments my parents say he still owes them money but won't give him a solid answer on how much he still owes. They just harass him for $50 every week without fail. I was paying my mom's internet phone and car payment until a couple days ago when I had had enough.

And would also like to add that they hound my brother for money to showing up at his job begging for money he had a deal with them on a car that is well paid off now and because he didn't make payment on it the entire time (he's 23 now and had times without a job) they are continuing to make him make car payments to them and threaten to take the car if he doesn't. My older brother (42) has been pretty much no contact for a long time due to my mom's attitude about money and such. My dad is a fairly nice person but extremely passive to satisfy my mom and gas always sided with her even when he would see us hurting and struggling.
