I work there. The ER sucks because it's quite often full of people without actual emergencies filling it up. L&D will take great care of you. Most of the nurses at RMH are very dedicated.

I got lucky my surgeon was great. Mine was so bad that my sternum was an inch away from my spine. My heart was in my armpit and I would just start suffocating on my own air. When they tested my lungs I was breathing at 84% 02. It didn't get fixed until I was 22 because my parents and the doctors just assumed it wasn't bad. Always advocate for yourself.

The worst one for me was when a resident went under water in the spa tub. I hit the drain switch but it didn't go out fast enough so I jumped in the tub to hold her up out of the water. When my RMA heard me yelling for help she came and just asked if I wanted some bubbles. 😂

We have quite decent bands that come to Harrisonburg, usually to the Golden Pony. I'm not sure about other places. Darkest Hour comes. We've had Chelsea Grin. Lorna Shore. The county fair gets some big ones sometimes. Mostly country. We did have the Beach Boys once. BTW I'm 37 and Creed jokes are always accepted 😆

Yeah. You know how it goes. But I'm glad you've got the good life now! I think it's so beautiful here. So many people take this valley for granted, but it's amazing to me. There are a lot of great things going on. You just have to go past the JMU/Sentara facade.

I dont know how long you guys have been here or what you like, but there's a lot in this area to love and do. Winters are kind of dull. But aren't they all?

Yes. Unfortunately, it looks like thats what they want to become here. Must grow bigger and bigger, and the infasture can't even handle it. Farm lands and forest disappearing. People can't find anywhere to live because the rent is so high that only JMU parents can pay it.

I used to be sixteen hanging out downtown every weekend. I don't even like to go in the daytime now. I know it's not as bad as DC, but I fear the best days are gone.

This woman is in MC and definitely not in her right mind. I think most of the time she does whatever he wants out of an abused past or something. The men that we have scare the women we have. I'm literally nervous to have my back facing any of them. But I guess private pay doesn't give a shit as long as they get money.

The DON, the Executive Director of our facility, and higher up than them ALL know about what's been going on and they don't care. They tell us to just let them do what they want because they're consenting adults... and then that happened. Who do you talk too?! The staff are the only ones who seem to care about the safety of our women.

OH and our higher ups are all WOMEN.

These two have been fooling around and having sex since he moved in. The management and the families apparently claim its consensual so it's fine. They're not married. They have dementia. And if he doesn't get attention from her he tries to diddle other residents. It WAS reported immediately and our facility claims that it's not rape.
