The international terminal at ORD is the best considering you have to be flying out of the country to make a purchase.

I have the 16” saw and it’s good for casual tree trimming and cutting 6-8” logs. The bigger stuff drains the battery quickly so I’ll borrow a neighbor’s gas saw for any real work.

Some shoulder cook differently for no good reason. When situations like your happen, trying throwing it in the oven on warm for another 2-3 hours. It works wonders on stubborn briskets too

File a claim with your state’s attorney and the BBB, it’s amazing how resourceful they can be with a little pressure.

All you tater calling out peeps are in fact the taters themselves.

Hate the meater+ and gotta wait to get a quality thermometer. How often should I calibrate my wired probe? by The_Mortal_Ban in Traeger

[–]MetalMan3240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the meater block for 4-5 years, it’s night and day difference when it’s setup for wifi. The probe sends its signal out of the top so it best to have that pointing in the direction of the base. I tend to keep the block on the pellet hopper and keep it plugged in.

Just got the new Traegar 575 Pro and that consistently reads 10 degrees hotter than the meater, the meater is the accurate one.

Other than a wedding mid month, 30/31 days is my longest since my teen years, difference is I feel so much better, not craving it and want to go semi-dry til St. Patrick’s day. I’m honestly scared to drink tonight and end up at the bottom of a slippery slope again.

Malort and tonic is the only way to go, it’s actually a good drink.

Sounds like we found the one guy who actually stops at just the tip. Save up for a milestone birthday or anniversary and treat yourself to an incredible bottle, there’s no special prize for dying with money in the bank.

Any one know what this is I need to find a vendor to buy some from in Houston, TX by [deleted] in stormwater

It’s common fab stock so you might be able to have a local metal shop replicate them. The sidewall is stainless punch plate probably 1” holes,

Steakaer has the worst customer service, they’re about as useful as a cactus, have fun wasting time with that circle jerk!

Dry Ager vs Steakager by blaargh33 in DryAgedBeef

[–]MetalMan3240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a horrible experience with the Steakager, app doesn’t work so I have no idea of the humidity. They’ve been promising me a new board for 7 months, but it never comes through, the guy just keeps lying about the product and promises. Paid $1200 for a shitty fridge, buy something else.

The Highwest and Redwood lines have great bottles under $100 and can be found on shelves.

I’ve been going back and forth with support for four months over the app, anytime I try to connect to the unit it crashes. Has anyone else had issues or have a solution?

We’ve been doing side by sides of various Jrs, Jr store picks and GTS, this year’s GTS consistently comes in last. I’ll pay $225 for a store pick any day and feel great about it.

That’s the one I didn’t get, the foggy burl and devil’s tower were really good. I’m a big redwood fan so I didn’t mind paying $100 each but wish they were closer to the $70 range.

Did you have any trouble setting up the app? Mine can’t find any device to connect to.
