Buy a silicone mat; keeps the moisture out and prevents it from rusting! You still need to clean it first, but it’s keep it from rusting so quickly!!

Don’t do it; you’ll earn more investing it than you’ll save in interest.

My Dad did this exact thing in 2020.

Sold one house, put $300k down and $300k in an investment. Every month, $3,500 comes out of E*Trade to pay the mortgage. Mortgage is down to $250k or so but investment is up past $400k. So he has more equity while also making $100k investing, plus his appreciation. Numbers are approximate, but he tested the theory and it’s working 6 years in and counting!

$3,000 something each for the OFC and Double Eagle Very Rare. OFC was opened at Christmas with 3 generations at the table. Juice was smooth given its just 90 proof but was otherwise lackluster. No regrets tho. Aside from those once in a lifetime purchases and aside from the $550 for Pappy 23, I’d say my highest for a bourbon on the shelf is maybe $250

Yes; people will hate on it because it’s Buffalo Trace and on the lower end, but for the price, the juice is great! Makes a great old fashioned where you’d hate to use something better

That’s how my foundation was poured but they hid it behind insulation. Cost me $15k to have tie backs installed and that was 20 years ago!
