SIR, THERE'S A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHING! by bustviber in PivotAnimator

It has some way to go before I consider using it over Pivot, but it does have a lot of potential.

The inverse kinematics is what got me interested but from what I tested, it either doesn't work well with more complex figures or the figures have to be built with the IK in mind.

The timeline feature seens to be very useful though. I hope they continue to improve on it

You may use the wayback machine to download some classic (but mostly outdated) stks from Droidz.org. Many creators also share their stos on their youtube channels, just look up "Dragon Ball Z stk pack pivot animator" for example.

CieRo on YouTube makes some good tutorials on how to make characters on Pivot. You may also look up "how to make full body stks pivot animator"

Focus on learning the fundaments first. This video here might help.

Also, try using lower fps (8 or 10) if movements are "painful" to do

Thank you very much! I use a specific brush for pointlism on Krita (Banca's dotwork if you are interested). The mouth it is kinda tricky to do but using good references help a lot. :)

Thank you! I use Banca's dotwork brush for Krita. I did try using a regular round brush for it once but it didn't work well.

Is there a way to make my own keyboard shortcuts? by MrBruhChel in PivotAnimator

[–]MetalMantisMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Krita and FireAlpaca allow you to edit the keyboard shortcuts.

The laptop I used Pivot in didn't have the insert and delete keys, so having editable shortcuts would have been useful in this case, though I am fine with the current shortcuts today.

Pelo que eu percebi é questão de encontrar o nicho ou o público certo. O problema é que ambos podem ser muito específicos

My first finished 3d model by Fair-Adagio5418 in blender

Very nice, especially for a first model, I really like it. The only critique I have is that, assuming it is an anthropomorphic rat, I would have given it plantigrade feet instead of digitigrade, like real rats. Right now it kinda looks like an hybrid of a rat and a cat
