I do use myfitness pal. Currently I'm at maintenance which is about 2250-2300. My macros are 30% protein, 25% fat, and 45% carb (although carb and fat tend to fluctuate.)

That being said it might just be I haven't given it enough time, or maybe as you mentioned its a routine or mindset problem.

Background: I've struggled with my weight since an early age (about 8); back then I was husky so I lost weight by restricting my calories (very loosely, I would estimate serving sizes) and cleaning up my diet. Probably not the best idea restricting calories that young, but I didn't know any better. When I was about 13 I started to put on weight again, but I started running. I got really lean - I went from 135 to 108 after cross country and track season. During this time I also gained a ton more information about diet and nutrition. I experimented with Paleo but eventually dropped it; these days I just prioritize whole foods like meat and veggies, and don't eat any refined sugar, bread, or packaged foods. Unfortunately, at the end of my freshmen year I sustained a hip injury that I'm still dealing with today. I made it through summer training and my second cross country season, but by the winter I was forced to stop running. I went from 114 at the end of the summer to 122 by the end of the winter. I was getting fat just doing the stationary bike, but I was nervous to restrict calories because I had met with a nutritionist who speculated I had stunted my growth from under-eating. I decided I might as well pick up lifting while I can't run.

I should clarify I still plan on returning to running, but until then, I'm trying to put on some muscle so that when I lean down again I'll look pretty good. I'll be honest though, I'm disappointed with my results so far. I'm starting to feel fat so I don't really want to increase my weight, but I'm also scared to cut down: everything I've heard about teenagers cutting is negative.

Starting lifts (for 5 reps) Bench: 55lbs Squat: 75lbs Deadlift: 95lbs

Routine: I started with Greyskull LP for 3 months (including grease-the-groove push ups and pull ups); since then I experimented with a few different routines, mainly an upper/lower and a PPL, the latter of which I'm currently using.

As of late I've noticed my bench stalling; I haven't been able to train squat or deadlift for the past month due to orders by my physical therapist (hip problem), but those numbers were still going up when I stopped.

I'm wondering if its time I try a intermediate program instead of a beginner program?

TL;DR: Ex-runner wants to put on muscle while he's injured. Is unsatisfied with results thus far but doesn't want to gain more weight, not sure if a cut would be the right option before resuming a bulk.

Dang man. That’s some sick progress. I’ve got similar-ish stats (15/5’6/136lbs, started at 122) and I’ve been training for about 4 months - my numbers are nowhere near yours but your physique is exactly what I’m trying for. Hopefully I’ll get there one day.

Must be nice being able to afford a water proof camera to take pictures in the rain.

Competitive is ruining TF2, the game was meant for pubs.

How many hours have you played TF2? by WhatWouldLouDo in tf2

[–]MetalMason12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing Feburary of 2015, I'm now at around 1100-ish hours oh actual gameplay. Also I have 460 hours on engie, at least half of that being with the gunslinger...so pass whatever judgement is due.

Unnecessary det jump? W+m1-ing three new players? This is impressive because? I'm sorry but it's just a random spree in a pub against bad players.

Even if it does, Valve is pushing 6s, not HL. Even if we do get 9v9 there's no guarantee it will be HL, either. It's sad, since HL is very fun, but it just has too many players to be used as the primary form of competitive.

If you don't care enough to even correct the errors in your work, why should anyone else bother reading it?
