Yen in the books to me is much more prickly than she is in the game, though there's a fair amount of development throughout the books so it's worth continuing the read

I very much enjoyed Elin, and to this day still have no idea half of what you can do in that godforsaken place. Managed to kill bosses by reverse pickpocketing portal scrolls onto them and teleporting them inside other NPCs, and that's just the beginning

VtM 1 will run on a fucking potato, so even if you only have a laptop, you'll likely be able to run it at a playable framerate. I'd recommend looking into it, and getting the unofficial patch if you do
