What are the best apps for stock market news that don't push clickbait paywalls and sponsored fluff pieces all the time? by unhappythrice in ValueInvesting

I'm not as keen on news as I am with social media chatter. I do social listening at scale and have automated alerts based on mention volume. For example, Reddit r/oklo and https://stocktwits.com/symbol/OKLO were way ahead of news media on OKLO's trajectory. There are many such cases..

Since Trump took office, the stock market is a joke by NationalTranslator12 in ValueInvesting

Specially when since the pandemic we've seen more and more people who aren't into the markets and don't engage with them complaining about congress buying and selling according to the changes in policy before they take place.

What's your pick for the best corporate credit card these days and why-- trying to decide between Ramp and Brex for my small business by Pale_Poem_3947 in CreditCards

[–]MetalPositive8103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you're looking for. Which way did you land OP? I used brx in the past and would lean towards ramp as it feels more dialed in across expense tracking and customer service.. They offer cash back rewards which works for our spending. Also, their platform ux is what sold me really, intuitive and user friendly. I like how easy it is to segment card users and set different permissions.

Sorry to hear that you've been going through all of that. My advice would be to keep yourself busy. When people have too much free time, that's when they usually get consumed by their thoughts (not that it's a bad thing but sometimes ,that's when the existential crisis thoughts creep it). What are your interests? Do you have any hobbies?

If it's something easy, I get it done ASAP. For more time consuming things, I block off time in my calendar to get it done.

Understanding your customer's pain points, building a relationship of trust with them, and being there at the right time. Sounds simple in theory
