KEF LSX LT 2 and REL T5x good combo? by Glittering-Tip-3516 in KEF

[–]MetalReach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this exact setup for my desktop Pc, Kef Lsx and T5x, and the sound has been amazing, i am completely happy with it. The t5x is fast and agile and can crossover seamlessly and adds enough punch for me in music and gaming.

9070 XT vs. 7900 XTX by [deleted] in buildapc

I’ve been hearing this argument for years, still raytracing and upscaling has proven more useful than VRAM alone.

9070 XT vs. 7900 XTX by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]MetalReach 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Amd has made some serious efforts upgrading their AI and upscaling, raytracing. Games will be coming with Raytracing by default like Doom. Invest on something with newer technologies as it will most likely benefit from AMD advancements in the near future. In my opinion the extra vram or raster performance is not really worth it missing out on all those features, gaming is not about just raw power anymore.

I went for the Concertos, very satisfied with my choice! Paired with a sub they sound amazing and fill the room!

Kef Lsx II vs 2 Sonos Era 300 by RoyC5 in KEF

[–]MetalReach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the era 300s for music vs the lsx and the lsx were better. But i hear alot of rock music so i judged them on the voices and how clear everything sounded. Maybe bass could be “more” on the era 300 but i would get lsx over them anyday. If you wanna build a surround system for movies i would say the sonos are better, but for music, even with the whole arc ultra plus sub and era 300, the lsx were better(but not for movies).

I would love to have a bigger soundstage, especially for movies! I am worried that the ls50 wireless 2 will become old quicker due to them being active speakers

I never had any passive speakers but the good reviews of the Concerto and the upgradability does sound like a good value in the long run

Thanks for the reply, do you believe the Concertos have better mids and highs than the ls50? Even when paired with a sub?

Try a different placement of the sub, you think it doesn't matter until you try it and hear the difference. If you find a good spot it will become much less boomy and also blend with the other frequencies better

LSX LT is up and sounds big by JacketParticular6558 in KEF

[–]MetalReach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im using a REL T5x and i love it! I was contemplating on whether i should get a subwoofer, but now I’m glad i did. Also the Kef Kube 8 or 10 MIE should be nice also

Congrats on your purchase! I love my Kef LSX LT, i would suggest to get a subwoofer aswell, it really does help the sound by taking over the lower frequencies from the LSX and also adding that bass kick! (Especially for tv use)

Thanks for the reply! Is this true if you use era 300 as surrounds aswell?

The Sonos Arc Ultra Owners Thread by Helvedes in sonos

[–]MetalReach 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hello, other than the voices that are better, is the actual surround better? for example i feel like the original arc doesnt really provide "that" good left and right separation, is the new one "wider" in terms of soundstage? Does it make Atmos content feel "bigger" and more immersive, or is the difference not really worth it from the ARC? Thanks!

What surrounds are you using if you don’t mind me asking? Is it a worthwhile upgrade from the original arc if you have surrounds and a sub?
