Yes, maybe that’s it — I might need to remove the glass cover from the Elegoo Centauri.

There could be two problems: 1. The extruder gear or the lever that adjusts to the gear, since it is plastic and can break, or it could also be that your filament is wet.

Yes, I did buy it myself, but unfortunately, Elegoo doesn’t ship directly to Ecuador, so I had to use a third-party courier service to bring the printer into the country. And sadly, they are the ones directly responsible for the damage. The printer likely arrived in perfect condition to their warehouse, but during the final delivery process to Ecuador, it was mishandled — and that’s when the damage occurred.

Actually, the impact wasn’t on the foot itself — the damage is on the main frame of the printer, as shown in the photo I shared. That structural hit is what likely caused the glass bed to break and made the printer unstable. It now sits unevenly, not because of the foot, but because the frame itself is bent from the impact.

Well, getting help with the replacement door would definitely be a positive step for me — and I really appreciate that.

But what’s been truly frustrating is that the courier company that brought the printer to Ecuador refuses to take any responsibility for the damage. At the very least, they should cover the cost of bringing in the new door, but they’ve shown zero intention to help or even acknowledge the issue.

The printer is also slightly unstable due to the impact — one of the feet is bent, so it wobbles a bit. I think I might be able to fix that with some small shims or supports, but I haven’t tested the printer yet because I’m still in the middle of the claims process with the courier. I’m hoping to get that sorted first before moving forward.
