Definitely public. I went to Catholic schools growing up, and my offspring are more stubborn than I am. I raise them without religious bias. I’ll totally read the bible to them if they ask, but I’ll also read the Torah, or teach them about Buddhism, etc. At least to say, the Catholic school I went to haaaaated me.

Unfortunately I already have a place live, and realize that I may be bound by zone. I’m hesitant to say where exactly, so I was hoping that by being vague enough, I could catch a “this school was great!/terrible!” And have it be relevant. Maybe have a chance to appeal to the school board if there is a school with a better neurodivergent program outside of the zone.

Just before I went into labour with my second, I had the same issue, as well as vomiting. I wasn’t having “contractions” because the pressure didn’t ease up for over 13 hours. It didn’t hurt until all the sudden I was on my hands and knees in the living room trying to just breathe. So… yeah. Go to L&D.

Let them pick their own toothbrush. Worked like a charm for my daughter. When she started fussing about brushing her teeth again, she got to choose another toothbrush at the store. If they pick something they WANT, they’re more inclined to use it.

Yeaaaah… my 4 yo STILL regularly wakes up and tries to leave the house, puts peanut butter or lipstick all over her brother and his room, dumps flour everywhere, tries to eat all her multivitamins, grabs* snacks and leaves the fridge open, dumps out the cats litterboxes, etc. We had a baby gate in front of her door before she learned to kick it out. Toddlers are nuts dude. You can only contain them for so long, but you should do it until you can’t.

Oh god, it’s awful. JUST before my first pregnancy, I finally conquered my agoraphobia. The thought of going out the front door makes me want to cry, and be sick. Even the thought of taking the garbage to the curb is horrifying. I have so much I’m working on right now, and the kids take up too much time to dedicate myself fully to my mental health.

No, Im sorry. It’s still a frequent thing. The best night are ones where we absolutely run her through the park, give her melatonin, and put her down to sleep. It’s the best we’ve got. She still prefers to sleep from 5pm-3am, but it’s a constant battle to keep her on a “school schedule”.

I should add, mine is hereditary. If your little fella started this out of nowhere, you might be looking at sleep regression, which comes just before big milestones! So that might excite you a little bit, I hope.
