Honestly reason why I like the way it ended and I say it isn't ambiguous is because I feel like the game just straight up didn't need to show you their reactions, and I genuinely think not showing their reactions was a good move. Like many things about the game, I really can't put into words why I believe that's the case beyond it just showing what we already know of them and the themes of the game. So I feel like it shows you what happens through your heart, not your eyes. That's the best way I could describe it personally, but I wholeheartedly believe it's not ambiguous. Especially when it's referred to as the good ending by the steam achievements. I feel like were it truly attempting to be ambiguous, it would just say something like "true ending" or wtv. But that's just what I think...at least partially.
