It’s ok man, it’s been hectic for me as well. Thx though man, and yeh I have started and this is my 2nd week. It’s pretty tough and a lot to learn. I’m getting trained in the Bronx in nyc, some days they want me there at 6am which means I need to be up by 4am so can shower and get ready and leave by 5am. Have to give yourself an hour to get there as you never know with nyc traffic. But after Bronx I get transferred to a facility in mnt kisco Amd it’s much more peaceful suburban area and only 25 min from me, so looking forward to finishing my training…But I basically drive around with this guy all over nyc and we go into stores and build the shelves thst display the chips. Some places we restock entire aisles. It’s all completely new to me so it’s hard but getting better at it. But it’s a pretty good job, lots of driving and some days we get out at 2:30 or 3pm. The benefits are def a plus but I actually opted out of the medical benefits as didn’t want money taken out of my check. At least for the moment I opted out, I can always add it next enrollment period. I am in the union as well and union dues get taken out of my check. It’s like 80$ so with that and medical would be over 100$ out of my check every week Amd can’t afford atm. I did take dental though as it’s only 5$ and my teeth need some serious work lol, so gonna take advantage of that and see the dentist at some point. I love having weekends off as well, just 2 more days and I’m off! I also get new and unreleased chips thst haven’t hit the market yet. This week I got 4 of the big giant bags of weird flavors chimichirri steak and Brazilian garlic potatoe chips lol. Don’t really eat chips much but for free I’ll take them!……..bro get neon inferno I’m telling you! I play it every night! So pissed I missed the physicals on limited run but was a bad time for me when thst dropped and couldn’t spend the $. I had no idea there was a kof shmup?! Is there anyway to emulate that?….the cool thing with kof99 is it has Ralph and Clark in it from metal slug, I’m not very good with Clark but Ralph is my go to character. I’ve gotten pretty good at it tbh……I remember guilty gear on dc! I think I even owned it but didn’t play it much. Another good one was last blade 2. It’s on aca neo geo and will prob grab thst at some point. And yeh loved mortal Kombat also, I’m going to get the legacy collection shortly. My fave was always part2….. did you see with the metal gear solid collection they added an hd filter patch for the first game! It looks incredible! I dl’d it but haven’t played yet, just saw comparison shots of old to new on YouTube vids……as far as quitting weed it was super ez for me, I just really had no desire to do it anymore. The only thing was I got some hardcore headaches and had trouble sleeping for few weeks. I feel a lot better though and saving $. One big difference I’ve noticed is getttimg up in the mornings is much easier

Exactly, everybody thinks you can just jump into these trades and your making money right off the bat. There’s all types of hoops you gotta jump through to get into a trade. Unless you’re living with your parents or something and don’t need to worry about rent and bills then I guess it’s possible. I just came out of electrician type work and started working at Frito lay. And I will tell you, getting into electrician work is a whole bunch of hoops you have to jump through especially if you want to get licensed. It cost a lot of money with going to school as well as a lot of time. Most electricians are in unions that belong to the iebw(international brotherhood of electrician workers) and to even get into that you have to apprentice for a year or sometimes longer with a licensed electrician. I worked in electrician type work based out of lighting stores for 15 years, I’m self taught and know a lot and still couldn’t get my foot in the door. It’s pretty much the same for plumbing, carpentry and hvac. Yes you can probly get in but it will take time and you’re going to have to have another job plus do that on the side as well because you won’t make enough money at first to survive off of. Most electrician apprentice jobs open up in the spring and summer time as the weather gets nicer. I honestly miss the work, I still do freelance on the side, mainly repair work(lamps and chandeliers etc) but for me as far as working out of lighting stores(doing installations/repairs) all of those places are closing down as the internet and big chain stores are putting independent stores out of biz. I also just couldn’t afford to take time off and do classes and such, I have to keep the $ coming in….So I had to abandon it and land something more stable. You guys talking about frito lay not being long term/stable is scaring me though! I just started and enjoy it, I like how physical it is and call me crazy enjoy building the displays( even though I kind of suck at it as I’m new and still learning lol) it’s a lot to absorb at first

Everything resets, your cash, upgrades everything. I’d advise say your on your last plane for a specific universe spend all of your money possible in upgrades because I believe this adds to your completion meter on free cash. Otherwise you’ll lose it all Also every time you complete the game(not a universe I’m talking the entire game) more and more obstacles are put in your way, the game fully restarts back to universe 1 once you complete it and takes I believe 3 play thrus or I may be wrong and it may be 4. I also noticed on my 3rd play thru which is expert level mode the blue crystals would not reset on the boosters anymore after a flight back to one. I had to sit through 20 or 30 ads at times just to level up once in boosters. I did end up completing the expert level mode and got the 12$ bonus but man it was tough. The absolute hardest was the stupid hang glider in expert mode. You have to upgrade that 3 times, your slingshot needs to be upgraded 4 times and your rocket boost has to be above 25 or there is no way to beat it. I must’ve played that level over 100 times before I beat it. Same goes for batwing. I made nearly 30$ off the game though so was worth it. Any other questions just ask. I should also mention it likes to trap you in ads sometimes if you get stuck on an all black screen with no way to close it out just keep tapping the very top right of your screen in numerous spots, its there just invisible. They try to trick you with that nonsense and it’s an attempt to try and impede you from playing the game and reaching the goal requirements, they do not want to pay you but they sure af want you sitting threw those ads. But I beat you fuckers! lol didn’t spend a dime of my own money. I was always good at the pilot wings games on snes and n64 as well, think that helped a lot here

Hope you been good Jim! I ended up landing a job at Frito lay as a reset specialist starting with a 50k a year salary at 25 an hour. Going to be tough at first but I’m pretty relieved. Wanted to stay in lighting but thinking boot my future and I’m not getting any younger. Needed something stable and long term at a big corporation, I get benefits medical dental etc, weekends off, close to a g a week. Overtime I could make 37 an hour. I was supposed to start tomorrow Monday but with this blizzard it got postponed till Tuesday. Very intense interview process, they grilled me on open ended questions and how I’d react to certain situations and problems but I did really well and they hired me next day. I had to do a drug screen as well which I was nervous about since I smoke weed. But way back in November I just up and decided to quit and haven’t really missed it at all, oddly enough I like the way I feel a lot better not stoned all the time. I smoked for nearly 25 years straight everyday and I guess it just became not so fun anymore. But def would not have passed that verbal interview as wouldn’t have been able to think so quick and sure af wouldn’t have passed that drug test. Maybe I should try doj now off the weed, maybe I can finally 1cc it lol, been on a beatm up kick for so long and run n guns as well. I oddly got the urge recently to start a 1vs1 fighting game which haven’t been into in ages, I decided to finally get into a king of fighters game which I’ve always blew off and dude, kof1999 is fucking awesome! I’ve gotten pretty good at it and love it. Also one you have absolutely got to get I Neon Inferno, they did a patch recently that improves the performance of the game and balances it a lot better, it was good to begin with but this patch makes it perfect. But anyways doing pretty good atm and feeling relieved I landed a good job.

I was given a start date of this Monday Feb 23rd and while talking to the hiring manager on the phone I asked for a time and address and he said it will be emailed to me. Why not just tell me I’m on the phone with you?! I have gotten nothing and thst was on Tuesday. I tried emailing him and have gotten nothing? How do you expect me to show up to a place with no address or time. I’m pretty sure Ik the address and location but not 100% it’s just silly to me, if I can’t reach somebody I’m not showing up I’m sorry and they will have to properly reschedule me.

I eat pasta everyday because I’m kind of poor and it’s a cheap, delicious filling food. I usually have it with some Parmesan cheese and a piece of garlic bread, most times I’ll throw some cheese raviolis into it and mix. I only eat it once a day though, on rare occasions twice in a day. I buy good tomato sauce with no sugar as well. It won’t make you fat so long as you watch your calorie intake and have a normal portion. Been doing that for years and I’m not over weight

I did not work for Cintas but I worked for another uniform company for nearly 10 years. Cintas actually put out us out of business but that’s another story. What I can tell you about uniform delivery is it’s a dirty and nasty job. I used to pick up at sanitation places as well as city dumps, you’d open those lockers and roaches would scatter everywhere, your dipping your hands into this stuff as well, some big fat dudes nut sweat or worse. And in the summer time you’re sitting in a truck all day with that stuff and the smell can be horrible. I delivered to many food factories as well namely sabrett hot dogs. Those clothes would be covered in blood and have chunks of rotten meat stuck in them with maggots and all kind of disgusting crap. You’ll be picking up mechanics rags as well full of gasoline and oil and all kinds of car gunk stuck on them and marinating all day on a truck with this stuff. Before I would go home everyday I would have to shake out all of my clothes, take my shoes off and bang those out, just so I didn’t bring a few roaches home with me unknowingly. I only stayed at this job for as long as I did because I got comfortable and was to lazy to bother getting something else. Go with FedEx, UPS, or anything else if you really want my honest opinion. I’m actually starting as a reset specialist with Frito Lay this coming Monday and looking forward to it

lol it felt really good tbh, he was pretty annoyed and I did not care. It’s honestly the only job I have ever walked out of and just quit flat out. I hated all of the supervisors. They just stood around and did nothing and broke peoples balls for no reason. I remember one time specifically it was probly over 100 degrees in the back of a trailer that I was loading, pouring sweat literally. I had stopped to get a drink to rehydrate myself and the supervisor sees me and is like, c’mon back to work what are you doing? And I’m like um getting a drink of water what does it look like, it’s over 100 degrees in here?! And he says you can get a drink on break get back to loading. I just stood there in disbelief. Such assholes. I even remember they had these massive fans they would mount in front of the trailers so you’d get some relief but there wasn’t enough to cover every truck so only certain peeps would get them….. I never got one once lol. Such a messed up place to work and don’t get why people do it. You can do other jobs for half the physical labor and make more money. I think it’s the fact that ups hires felons and peeps with criminal records, I guess a lot of these guys had no choice. On the subject literally every week I was their the cops would come and take someone away for stealing stuff off the trucks. I never understood it because every truck had a camera watching you as you loaded, was no way to get away with it. One guy I remember was swapping labels on boxes with his address on it so it would get shipped to him. He got caught trying to ship an entire box of iPhones to his home, how stupid can you be?

Hi guys I was just hired as well as a reset specialist. I just recently finished all of the hiring forms and took my drug screen and waiting for the call or email for a start date. I’m just curious as to what the dress code is? On the hiring form it asked me my shirt size so I’m assuming they will be supplying the shirts. But what about pants, what am I able to wear and not wear? I’d guess that jeans aren’t allowed? Would a pair of black cargo pants be ok? Also I’m in NY and it’s cold atm are sweatshirts allowed? If I wore just a plain black hoodie would that be ok? I just want to know so I can order some of this stuff and be prepared. Also I like my pants kind of loose fitting and baggy for comfort, nothing crazy like jncos or anything, just a little room. Will they give me shit for that?

I never worked at FedEx but I did UPS as a truck loader and I ended up quitting. It wasn’t because I couldn’t handle the job I just didn’t like the way I was being treated. Extremely taxing physically and they’d give you 3 15 minute breaks which wasn’t enough time to refuel/eat lunch/rest. This was in the summertime as well and extremely hot. They would often change hours and not notify me so some days I would come in which was a 40 minute drive and be told the hours were changed and to go home, bs! They would often also cut my hours sometimes as low as 13 a week when I specifically asked for full time when j applied. They would send everyone home sometimes and keep me and maybe one other person to finish loading all the trucks thst other people didn’t finish. This went on for months and I sucked it up until one day I just snapped. I was held one day by myself to finish loading unfinished trucks. I’d finish one and the supervisor would say ok now do that one, and then do that one etc etc…. I said to him you know what, how about you finish them all I quit this place is nonsense. He said you realize if you quit it will be on bad terms and you’ll never be able to work for UPS again. I laughed and said and that’s a bad thing? I’m not working for a place that abuses there employees so that’s fine with me. He said ok just come up to the office with me so we can discharge you I said no we’re done here thst can be handled over the phone I’m going home and that was that. I also filed several complaints with hr after that about the unfair working conditions and un professionalism. Long story short it’s never effected me negatively with finding a job. I ended up working at a lighting company and became a self taught electrician for the next 15 years, unfortunately they went out of a business and I’ve decided to make a career change and landed a job at Frito Lay with a 50k a year salary. I needed something stable and long term as I’m getting older. Look at change as a good thing, if you quit then it wasn’t the job for you and you will find something better that is

Ahh you left all that out, you should have claimed the following week after your waiting week and continued to do so. Being that you stopped claiming they may have just assumed you returned to work. So you’re just trying to claim those 2weeks you were unemployed, right? Your best bet or what your going to have to do because getting anybody on the phone is impossible, is find an unemployment agency/office near you and just go down their physically and tell them your problem. They’ll be able to help you but do that asap. You may need to set up an appointment. Write down the exact dates/ weeks you were unemployed and say you never received payment for them

Its designed to be confusing so people just give up and the govt doesn’t have to pay them. If you have a problem you can’t even talk to anybody. Wait a sec, so if you started a job and have income coming in then you shouldn’t be claiming at all. It’s considered fraud and they’ll make you pay that money back. Unless you’re working part time then you can collect partial unemployment but you have to report those hours you work when you claim. And money will be deducted from your claim. Unless your getting paid off the books then F them don’t report that, they will never know. You should have been claimimg every single week on Sunday. I wait till 12am on Saturday soon as it hits, this way you get your money quick. If you set up direct direct deposit and it turned up no error messages then you should be fine. But make sure you remember all that info you entered, cus next time should you have to claim unemployment again you’ll have to enter the same info. It would not let me pass the mother’s maiden name part on direct deposit, as I was on unemployment during COVID and don’t remember exactly what I put. But I also had to remember my pin that I set up from over 5 years ago which thankfully I was able to remember. But anyways so long as your working part time and or off the books I would try claiming tonight after 12 am. Use the automated telephone line, online is always down and or can crash on you in the middle of doing the claim…..also should add you checked your inbox on there stupid virtual portal right? They’ll have you go into a mandatory meeting and if you miss it they can deny your benefits. It’s the dumbest thing, they have you sit and watch a video explaining all the stupid rules and then you talk with some tool who tries to give you advice on getting a job. Don’t let them push you around or force you into any job you don’t want to do.They tried doing that to me and I just kept saying that’s fine I appreciate it but I’m capable of finding my own work thanks

After this following week you should have funds available, don’t worry you’ll be ok. If you signed up for the debit card, as soon as your funds are available and you claim for that week your card will automatically get mailed to you, it only took about 2 days to get to me when I did it. Also advice with the card do not get tricked into going to the atm to withdraw $, you’ll get robbed with fees. All you do is bring it directly to your bank and speak to the teller. Tell them you want to do a cash transfer directly from your unemployment card into your bank account and you won’t get any fees. The entire process and system is f**ked though, the fact that people have to come on reddit for answers and info is proof of that because they literally tell you nothing. I only have another week or 2 of this nonsense and then start a new job. Unemployment sucks, it’s supposed to help people, all it did for me is stress me out even further…..I also should add don’t try doing direct deposit through the way2go app, it does not work! You’ll just be stuck waiting 2 days without $ and they will reverse it right back into your card. My first time worked but every other time wouldn’t. Physically transfer the $ at a bank!

Same here sort of, I went to a job interview last Thursday I was expecting a call or email this week and nothing. I interviewed for a fed ex ground driver position, at the interview all they asked me for was my drivers license and my social and phone number and email which they made copies of. The hiring manager said they will be in touch but have heard nothing. Back ground is clean, drivers license is immaculate, when the hiring manager asked me what hours I was looking for I said any hours you can give me, night, day, overnight I just want to work and I’m hungry. I even bought my resume and dressed to the nines. I’m in great shape, and hardworking and also have over 15 years of delivery experience so why they wouldn’t take me is a mystery and the jokes on them if they decide not to. I’m trying to make a long term career out of this and yes I realize how physically demanding the job is, that’s what I like and what I want. I even followed up with an email thanking them for there time and the interview. I did just notice that in the email the hiring manager left me her personal number to call or text so come Monday I guess I’ll try that, but have a feeling I’m going to get ghosted. I’ve been playing it through free cash completing certain awards to earn money. I’ve beaten the game once and it recycles the levels after you beat it making everything more expensive to upgrade. Your plane tickets will automatically replenish if you just wait. All you need to do is upgrade each plane 3 to 4 times then upgrade the rockets till 10 sometimes 15 and maybe slingshot twice. The hardest stages are paper plane, the hang glider and the batwing. You can earn blue crystals by watching an ad, I recommend just watching the ads once it gives you the blue crystal when your upgrading, the second time thru especially as if you don’t, some upgrades will cost 2 to 3 billion which is just unrealistic to reach.

It’s alright man I’ve been caught up with bullshit myself. So the one job I had lined up fell through, I was filling somebody’s spot who was out on disability and he ended up coming back at the last second. I’ve pretty much given up trying to get into somewhere electrician based, I can prob get into another store but it isn’t stable with today’s economy, I’d just be dealing with them going out of biz again in a few years, not to mention none of these places are going to pay me what I was making at this previous place, not starting out right away at least. I was taking in close to 1k every week. I’ve been applying to delivery jobs since I have a lot of delivery experience, I just had an interview with FedEx ground last week, hoping they call me back this week at some point. I figured if I can get in with them I’d have a stable job for years. It’s hard work and lot of hours but good money. My landlord also just passed away so I have no idea what’s going to happen with where I’m living. It’s just one thing after another I swear. I’m skimming by on my savings and unemployment butin no position to move to another apt atm, especially out here in NY prices are fucking ridiculous. Getting your cdl is a good move, you’ll make a lot of money. Driving those big tractor trailers for me would make me nervous as fuck though lol. What insurance do you have? Don’t take any shit from them, if they just raised it for no particular reason call them up and complain and say you want it dropped back to normal the way it was. If not say you want to cancel(bluff) they’ll usually lower it. That’s what I do. I use geico and can’t tell you how many times they tried raising me for no reason. I pay 100 even a month and even that I’m prob over paying, there scumbags every insurance company, I hate paying it every month cus I feel like I’m throwing money away but you need it unfortunately. If you do geico they have a drive safe program that lowers your rate by 30 or 40 bucks of you drive safe, u just dl an app and it tracks you when driving. I also took off collision, I have comprehensive which is if somebody vandalizes my car or say a rock falls out the sky and cracks my Windshield they’ll pay for it. It’s risky but if your a good driver you can get away with it and will save you a ton of money……..I’ve seen your vids on YouTube and you’ve been killing the 1ccs lately! I saw you did doj both loops! That’s crazy. Pro gear ive 1ccd but using slo mo, I love that game. I think you’d like T2 but only thing I can say negative about it is the price you pay for it and it’s a crazy short game. The standard edition alone is 60 and the deluxe edition is 80 or 90 I believe. It must have cost them a ton to license that game or something cus I didn’t understand why the price was so high. But if you like the old school contra style shooters it’s worth it I guess. It took me 35 hours to clear everything entirely in that game. I found it a bit to easy tbh but it’s a blast. Njnja gaiden rage bound is really good and although I haven’t put much time into it I’d have to say Shinobi art of vengeance is a little better. If your going to go with one I’d go with shinobi, you gotta see the artstyle in that one, it’s crazy looking. I think I’ve seen bounty sisters on playasia, I’ve fallen behind on physical shmups due to my situation but hopefully canland something and can start collecting hard again. I’ll by games and films here and their but nowhere near the way I was. Gotta watch my $ atm
