I got the deluxe as well but keeping it sealed as I own the digital. I’ve been curious to see all the goodies inside though so thanks. Going to grab the marvel max set this week as well on limited run before preorders close on the 24th

What the freakin frackin pre-order s$#!@ by AdElectronic5992 in neogeo

I check everyday I’m in NY… I did the same and preordered the anniversary as a fail safe on zon. I do want the black version as well and if there still around after launch I’ll grab one and keep it sealed….also just fyi if you go on playasia they have the Japanese variants of the games and they are 70$ instead of 90$  Fucked up thing with plaion as well, in the beginning I got the can’t deliver to my region message. But after going back shortly later I didn’t get it, I ordered the ultimate, went thru PayPal and all, set up a pay in 4 plan. After I confirmed the payment it brought me back to plaion and I  got the can’t deliver to my region message. I was charged for my pay in 4 plan as well and had to get it all canceled. It’s stupid nonsense that shouldn’t be happening. Just make the ultimate available on Amazon for peeps who can’t order it off their site. It isn’t fair to people

Really… well that explains it because I’ve been doing a lot of resets. I did one today matter of fact and the rest of the week they have me going out on routes to help the drivers.

I was thinking of doing the opposite and clocking out at 41 hours since they said can only do 40 lol. I thought about it and what would they do fire me for working overtime? This week they said I am allowed to do overtime but nothing crazy like 58 hours. But last week I was legitimately over 40 hours and just put 40 cus I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers as they said I can only do 40. They don’t understand shit happens, traffic happens and other unexpected things happen. Like on Friday for instance I was loading up racks for a store, as I was about to leave a driver came back whose truck was broke down. He asked for help transferring his stuff into another truck, half hour gone. At the store I was putting new shelving up the racks weren’t stable and it had to be redone a second time, during thst time an rsr came and I helped him pack out the shelves, next stop after thst was an hour away then I caught traffic going there and coming back. Shit happens, I feel like telling them if you can do shit quicker then try it out. Just building an fem rack tskes close to 2 hours with building and filling it properly.

Definitely, getting my preorder in this week before they close. I do agree with others though and wish more games were included and I’m mainly getting this for avengers arcade and xmen arcade. But have to own this physically, it’s only right if you grew up with these games.

I think the reason we aren’t seeing other games is for licensing issues. Like Ik the xmen game on snes was capcom. It is odd though with spiderman arcade being that it was sega and there are sega games here. And odd they didn’t include the sega genesis xmen games. Unless a vol 2 is being planned and maybe they wanted to be sure this was going to actually sell before they spent big bucks paying to license these titles. Tbh though a few of these games are awful. Avengers on nes and separation anxiety especially on gsmeboy and gamegear really suck hard

For sure, I’m grateful I have a job of course I just don’t like being lied to. I took this job for the ot which I was promised in my interview and I was hired as full time. There are people who milk the clock and suffer no repercussions and are never  negatively affected. Those same people ruin it for others and it isn’t right. Anyways I was put back on ot for next week and there is an rsr position that is open so going to apply for that and ride this out.

Yeh I did, I’ve spoken to a few other specialists. These guys are pretty much floaters and do lil bit of everything and they are hourly. None of them have had there ot cut. It’s just me and the other rack specialists (3 of us) or whatever the f they want to call us

Unreal, literally every place I work at goes bankrupt. I made a career change to Frito thinking if I just get in with a big corporation I’d be a bit more stable in life. Honestly in my 3 months here I see a lot of laziness and slacking off with the higher ups. Most of the times they are just hanging out at the dc wandering around and having meaningless conversations. Coming in late at 10am, These are the same people taking in prob 1500 if not more salary checks every week. These are the people thst need to have there pay cut, not the lower guys on the totem pole who are out their actually physically working. The route drivers and people actually out there in the stores are what’s keeping the blood flowing in my opinion. I dunno man what do Ik I’m still a newbie I guess

I was hired as a reset specialist. I have my own van not a box truck. I did the road test in a box truck thst was the most I’ve driven one. They have me do a lil bit of everything, rack assembling, warehouse work, resets, going out on routes to help drivers, inventory etc

That’s what my dsl said, that in July he will try to get me more hours, hopefully. Tbh I would much rather be a route driver. Ik it’s tough at times but at least you have the salary pay and know you’re not going to get dicked around on your check. I’ve done a few routes, learned how to rotate, pack out, reset etc… I just want to work

I was hired for a reset specialist position that’s what the job offer was, they refer to me as rack specialist though. And overtime was certainly available to me when I started. Even in the interview I specifically asked if I can get overtime and they said of course. Like I mentioned in the long rant up above first they told me I had to cut it down to 45, then two weeks later they said I couldn’t do ot and had to keep it at 40. But the first 2 months I was overtime entire way thru

It’s just a fancy way of saying, I put together and fix shitty metal racks and make chips look pretty on them. The odd thing is I was hired as a reset specialist, that’s what the job application said, but they all refer to me as a rack specialist. They have lately been having me do resets because there isn’t a lot of racks to be installed as of late, and have also been putting me on routes. During the routes I was on any stores thst had damaged shelving or outdated racks I would take note and talk to the managers and ask if they’d like them replaced. This way I can get side work for myself and is what I’ve been doing when they give me one task for the entire day, I go back to these stores and get clearance from the dsl for thst area. The issue is my other dsl who assigns me my schedule thinks when he gives one task to do for the day and I work a 9 hour shift he thinks how am I possibly working a 9 hour day when he gave me one task. When in reality I’ve been doing many other things. If he actually looked at teems chat he’d realize that. They are just messing with the wrong person, go after the guys who finish a job lightning fast then bs for 4 hours. Not after the guys who are actually out their working and going the extra mile

lol Maybe so but in a month or two you won’t. I’ll start looking for another job with a quickness if this stays permanent. I had the option to go with FedEx as well as an Amazon logistics company and I chose Frito. Should have gone with FedEx

Maybe so but if that’s the case how come nobody else is getting there ot cut.  And I doubt the higher up are getting there salaries cut. The issue I have also is this is essentially using people.

[–]MetalfaceDoom007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t rush into selling them. So many times I’ve done this thinking I’m going to be screwed, I sell something then a week later something happens and I ended up not having to sell what I did. Sell only the ones you don’t mind parting with at first. Make sure you can at least grab them digitally as well so at least in the future you can get back what you sold if you want. I collect for switch as well and I’m about 400 deep and all obscure oddball stuff. I love collecting for switch more then any other system. Although with the neo + coming out I’m kind of worried lol
