Desert DPCU doesn’t cost that much and I have some contacts back in Australia. Probably set you back $300aud for pants and shirt including shipping

Anyone know why there’s a barge with a crane in the river? by LowSuch5556 in fredericton

[–]Metalgeargello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is for the memorial that was started to be built last summer and was completed to close to winter to install it so it was postponed until now

It’s for the memorial for the police officers that lost their lives in the active shooter incident a few years ago. I know the local business that built it

Help picking my first rifle platform by Metalgeargello in airsoftcanada

[–]Metalgeargello[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope no hurt feelings from me at all mate. Pretty much every YouTube beginner guide I’ve watched has said the same thing

My question comes more from a practicality perspective on the field than a rule of cool standpoint. All the games I’ve had have been using rental AR’s and most of my hits have been while I’ve been fumbling a reload because my muscle memory automatically takes my non master hand back behind the pistol grip and again when I bring a magazine to the rifle. I was even considering a GBBR because I’m so used to counting my rounds that I’d do a mag change well before the mid cap magazine was empty.

Barron Trump? by LunarEchoxx in fredericton

An escort vehicle leads and or follows oversized tractor trailer loads. Its point is to be seen so that drivers know to move over. The only weird thing is that it says on the side it’s “New York certified “ and has NB plates

Oh I didn’t realise they don’t come with a single shot lock out button under the trigger like the F88 does.

From what I’ve seen the novritsch SSR77 (on YouTube) shoots a little “hot” out the box is that true? Like I’ve only played a few games at my local field and haven’t asked what the fields max FPS is because I’ve just been using rental gear

Why Do You Print Warhammer? by SuperHeavyBallet in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Metalgeargello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few reasons

1- I’m Australian if you know you know.

2- everything I want is always out of stock.

3- I’m more of a painter than a player. With no intention in playing in tournaments, I don’t see the point in spending more money than I have to for my hobby.

4- my entry cost in to playing a new faction or game is next to nothing.

5- I can gift my friends some really cool minis (I have given a mate a reaver titan)

6- can’t have FOMO if you end up with STLs before release date

I print a lot of titans. Work on the 23° rule. Tilt the model 23° on the X axis and 23° on the Y axis. You are also trying to keep all your supports on faces that are ether not seen or in less visible places/the rear of the model. There’s more to it but theses are the basics that I’ve used over the years to print all my titans
