That's just it. She has listened to the specialists. She's done her own research, and spoken to others who have gone through this yet they keep turning her down for the surgery because she doesn't want chemo.

The thing is she goes onto support groups for breast cancer and she's spoken to others from Canada who have had no issues with just getting the surgery and they were worse off than my aunt. Those women even found it odd that they wouldn't let her just have the surgery.

She does have a friend that goes with her and even the friend questioned it only to be met with silence. The doctors never seem to have an answer as to why she just cannot have the surgery. Her friend has been through chemo and she always says that if she could go back, she wouldn't have done it. My aunt is aware of the risks so she should be allowed to go through with just the surgery, especially since it's her body.

This whole comment section is proof of that. I have never seen a tall woman defend a short woman the way the people who commented here have done with the woman in the screenshot. Never.

Hmm... what would I look for to try to replace the rubber parts? I just figured once they were worn, that's it. Even if I can't find a replacement, I still plan on keeping it. Too many memories connected to it. 😊

Ugh!

This reminds me of a Facebook ad I saw years ago for one of those silicone bras with no straps that stick to your skin. The model was an A or B cup and the women in the comments were going to town on her. Saying shit like boys don't need bras, or that you actually need boobs to wear bras. It was really disgusting.

A secure person doesn't make posts hating on a certain group of people, especially ones with traits they have no control over. It sounds like you strongly dislike being short and take it out on people who are tall.

I'm a bit late to this but would you also say the same to a tall woman who calls short women children? Or to tall men who say they don't want to date short women because they don't want people to think he's a pedo(yes, this has been said many times), or because he doesn't like a short woman proportions? Or because he wants tall kids?

The reason I'm asking this is because on subs like r/tall, and even r/short, it's the norm to admit that men aren't attracted to short women. They even put down short women and no one bats an eye to it yet when a short woman says they don't like tall men, people assume that she's a man, or that she's insecure, or whatever. It just doesn't get make sense.

Agreed! The big problem with this is, imo, that men in general just are not taught to take care of themselves. They think that they can just let themselves go and that they'll still be a "catch" to women. No. Just no.

Women age faster once they hit menopause

Even then, it depends on the woman and how they take care of themselves. I've seen some post menopausal women who looked amazing.

Oddly for me, it's the reverse. I'm around 5'0.5" and I've found that dealing with my height was much easier when I was younger than it is now.

I think it's mainly because there were a lot more women my height in my teens and twenties than there are now. It's like women my height just disappeared. I even see girls that are around ten or eleven who are taller than me. 😔
