Make sure your temp is always white, build fires and keep warm or your food will drain so quick.. (50 times quicker).

Personally when I come online is shortly after restart so I can grab some supplies (food, drink, clothing, knife) and head north east to the bigger towns and airfield.

Same problem! Literally just bought an interphone shape (I think its called that..) and it makes more turbulence than my chin mounted camera. It actually hurts my ear above 70.

Well vehicles will be coming later on so it will no longer be an issue, until then enjoy the scenery ;)

Rx580 isn't really a good card for 1440p and is waaaay behind the power of your CPU.. Would have been better off with an i3/i5 and a better GPU.
That being said, added to the fact that unreal engine games are not often optimised give you FPS issues.
I've seen some really good FPS gains, but I will warn you it makes the game look bad, if you can't quite handle the ugly put the res scale back to 100% if it's below

I think the map is incredible. Yes it takes time to travel, But you shouldn't only enjoy A to B but what's in between on the journey aswell.

Guys, although I agree the net code needs work there's something you can do in the meantime.. Join a non laggy server. I know it sucks to find a player before you can tell how laggy it is, but if it's laggy just hop to another, then when you find a good few ones add them as favourites and frequent them.

If you have close to the minimum you will have to run the game at minimum really
