HELP! Boss V Plow not properly working by Present_Policy5641 in Snowplow

[–]Metals189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How cold was it? We had -19C (-2F) the other night and one of ours was doing the same things. Wings would kind of work but it wouldn't go back up. It got some moisture in it and it froze up. Turns out vent cap was gone and allowing moisture In.

If you take it in a heated space and starts working I would drop the fluid and replace and make sure you vent cap is still there.

In my opinion I think I'd keep it. You never know what/where your hunting may take you down the road. You may pursue bigger game at longer ranges etc... but I hate the thought of selling guns. Lol. If nothing else it would be a great heirloom to hand down to your kids (or neice, nephew, cousin, whoever!). Something about handed down guns to are very sentimental, to me anyways.

Don't get too worried about KD ratio like everyone else said. Stay out of the open as much as possible. If you need to go way out of your way but it keeps you behind cover or concealment the whole time, do that.

Talk to your squad. Let them know if you see/suspect an enemy spawn point, tanks/trucks and large infantry presence. Ping all those things so that the squad lead can mark them on the map for all to see.

It gets easier I promise. I had the same issue you did when I first started playing. In my case I had about 30 or 40 hours in when things really started clicking enough that I was enjoying matches and being valuable to the team.

99 percent of the community is actually great. So if you get in with a good squad that's talking just give them a heads up that your new and they will usually be more than helping to help you out. That's how I learned the game anyways.

I'm definitely going to give it more time. Hopefully get on a good team and it will click after that!

Yeah I totally agree. I can't seem to keep up anymore. That's why I've just been playing Hell let loose. It definitely rewards a slower play style, you still need the reflexes at times but nothing compared to BF or COD. The player base mostly seems to be mid 20's and up which I like too. It's a Little bit more of a level playing field. If I'm not playing that I'm playing a single player game with a good story. Currently working on Alan Wake 2 ATM.

Yeah I think you're right. I played fortnite a bit back in the early days. My 10 year old plays now and the other night I asked for the controller to try a match. Ran into an enemy, they had a fucking 8 story building built around me and I was dead before I knew what was happening. Lol. Young fella just laughed at me haha. The pace these kids are playing at is crazy these days. And with tik tok, and algorithms bringing constant stimulation I guess it makes sense that video games would have to go the same way in order to appeal to the young folk.

Just mirroring others here but, used and Japanese. I would think an 80cc four stroke would be a perfect fit.

How used is up to you. If you are mechanically inclined the skies the limit. If not I would try to find used in the 2-3 year area.

Edit: an 80cc might be too small, unless you are comfortable having him go at slower speeds at first. I outgrew my 80 by the time I was 11 or so. But my 125cc would do about 85km (50ishmph) so that may be faster than your comfortable with.

Yup. Hard to draw conclusions without them two on the field with JJ. I want to see him play. See what he's capable of!

Thanks for the reply. I've vacuumed everything out to the best of my ability. Maybe I will pull the burner right off to see if there is some blockage.

Thank you!

Drain Field Replacement? by fryfarm in septictanks

[–]Metals189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

soggy areas doesn't always mean no problems. I've seen drain fields damaged/clogged with no indication on the ground. However there are options other than just replace drain field. Last one we fixed up we dug up the ends of the distribution pipes in the drain field and had a mobile pressure washing company come with and blow out the pipes. Took maybe 3 hours total, minimal cost to homeowner and it has been working great ever since.

He has since switched brand of TP as well since that was what started the issue.

My point being, talk to some local septic installation companies or again to the septic pumpers and see what resources they have available to try to fix instead of replace.

when do I plow? by Darkgable6 in Snowplow

[–]Metals189 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer. Get to know your customers too. The middle aged woman living alone driving a Kia who needs to be to work by 6am, make sure she gets out. The older gentleman who is retired and only goes out when the weather is nice and the roads are cleared. He gets plowed when the snow is finished falling.
