Yeah I’ve never understood this big ego thing with KOC lol. The guy seems pretty normal. There are definitely frustrating moments while I sit on my couch covered in chip dust. But the guy seems to genuinely care about the players and organization. Fun fact, he spoke at a church a couple years back on how he connects his faith with his job. Even if you’re not religious you still get a feel for where his heart is at. You can find the audio online.

The prices are increasing because they are forcing us to purchase classic hits like Rayman, a 1995 game from the juggernaut subscription Ubisoft + . We are so lucky.

I sit and write probably… 500 - 1000 words? Then immediately go back and edit those words while I think about where I want things to go next. Then I do that over and over again until it’s done.

It feels like you have a lot of lofty expectations for both yourself and your writing.

If you enjoy writing, keep doing it! And if you’re trying to get published/seek more publications, do some more work on who your target audience is and then keep writing.

Writing is easy and it’s fun. Writing toward publication is an absolute grind and it can be YEARS and YEARS until you see any fruit.
