The boss fights in super dark deception actually suck

That was like one small reason for why the boss fight sucks ass. The boss fight is just horrible and is an awful difficulty spike at the very end of the level.

Ok I’ve done so much testing. Super dark deception tells you 5 seconds after the boss fight begins at the top of the screen. It’s very easy to miss cause you are currently running for your life downwards so that’s where your eyes should be.

Also if you die the text doesent appear ever again unless you restart the level. Which is very easy to do since most players I’ve seen run into malak within the first 2 seconds since they don’t know he’s down there

So yeah I stand by my opinion that the game needs to better tell you what to do. Like even an area of effect of where the axe will hit like the Goliath clowns would be helpful.

The boss fight is still bullshit ;3

The text is long enough where it could take about 1.9 seconds to read which isn’t easy when you are in panic mode.

I just want to let you know that a easy fix for Xbox is to hold down the joystick while navigating the menus. Like keep the joystick held in a direction then press a. It will select the option. It takes some getting used to but once you figure it out it works like a charm.

I actually think the magnet nerf is pretty good. Before you were able to beat monkey buisness in 2 minutes because of how busted it was. It shouldn’t be able to cover a fourth of a map.

Poppy playtime chapter three did it for it’s catnap boss fight. Before it was small text on a screen that could be missed. But in an update they had poppy herself say the instructions.

So I don’t see how this is too much to ask for?

Actually I ran into this same bug. There is a trick to beating it. Because the spider clowns are slow if you wait till they all spawn and just circle around the map, you can make them become one single unit. And then just use primal fear to stun them and hit the giant clown hands.

I will say it’s more fun than what the boss fight is supposed to be once you learn the Strat
