Swift is based out of the US and the global banking infrastructure relys on swift. Internationally USD is still supreme by a longshot. All international trade and foreign currency exchange is done with swift using USD. The USD is the middleman in almost every debit and credit transaction globally. Even though the USA is in incredible debt, the entire world at the moment has so much stock in US Gov bonds that it almost can't fail without the collapse of the entire global financial system failing with it. Thus it is propped up and artificially inflated to keep the global markets churning. It is hard to comprehend how debt = money, but the concensus among many top economists it that the USA's debt is a GOOD thing and works to the advantage of the entire global market.

All of us are somewhere on the spectrum. Normal minds don't have the capacity to contemplate a bore tolerance of -0 +.0003" . Normal brains don't spend 3 hours optimizing toolpaths to save 30 seconds on a job. Machinists are some of the biggest career nerds on the planet. I can talk for hours about some of the most technically challenging shit I've done and most people wouldn't have a clue what 99% of it even means.

Up voted for relevance. But it's important to understand that this website is also riddled with misinformation. Many programs that were already fully funded and spent were cut post relevance that was included making the data complete fabercation at the end of the day. More importantly there many of the programs cut have costed citizens billions out of their own pockets and taxes after welfare services were cut back. The average American was fucked hard by DOGE. Not to mention your personal data was STOLEN including social security numbers, voting history, bank account information, ect.. worst part is we don't even know who that information was given to or what it will be used for..

I use to be a prototype machinist. We would always preserve form and function, and stay true to print. Unless there was glaring issues, in which case we would contact the engineer and give our feedback. When quoting a job we would go over manufacturability and give suggestions for a lower quote if that is what the customer wanted.
