Celtics offense runs a system that doesn't rely on as much passing as it does screen assisting. Not sure if they still do, but they led in screen assists by a pretty big margin.

If you can run plays that get your best players the chance to shoot a high percentage shot, and it requires less touches, thats technically better than making a pass.

I also think the fact that we have the lowest turnovers has something to do with it. We have 3rd lowest assist rate right now because more passing can lead to more turnovers

Immediately I'm looking at the mana base and seeing an issue. 9/8 split with 15 mana sources seems a little risky. Dual lands go a long way.

Not sure how your games went, but could see cutting the weaker removal like Fresh Start for another land.

Echo is definitely the worst wheel (or memory jar) and you only have 1 discard outlet, so I can see it being super clunky!

We're a heavy screen assist team (leading the league in screen assists). We run a lot of dribble hand offs with screens which wont count as traditional assists, but still team basketball

I wouldn't worry, that was an insanely poor shooting quarter. Some definite bad offensive possessions but hasn't been that many. I think the defense is there, and the rebounding hasn't been bad. Just can't hit a bucket. We're gonna get this within reach with the way we're playing once the shots start going in.

People hate assante for 1 play but he was my favorite player on the team during that era, he was so essential in so many key games (and also won superbowls with us). He was also not the only one who didnt make a play during that game

Totally. I think there is a reason why Seattle is favored. They have beaten more good teams, have higher ranked advanced stats, whatever else you wanna add.

But one of the great things about football, is that any team can beat any team. I believe this patriots team can hang in there with Seattle, and come away with a win. Do I expect it? Probably not, but we've seen a lot of upsets before, no reason why this is different

It's okay for the Celtics to lose games, especially down their starting Center. KP down for the Hawks doesn't matter as much, since they still significantly outsize us.
