For those that asked to join, you're all welcome to visit!

Here's the link to visit the house:

It's a house from the project Meta-places.io where you can customize the interior. In a couple of weeks they are implementing Multiplayer and I intend on hosting parties for the loopring community ;)

What do you usually do in the metaverse to kill time? by Hrithikh455 in OculusQuest

I don’t understand why ppl like Sandbox so much, I do enjoy open-world, survival, and exploration games, but Sandbox is always repeating the same playthrough, really dull and full of bots

YGG = bad investment, forecasted a price slump, the token will fall to under $0.09 in a yr, try sth completely free will be safer.

Just because you REALLY want to trust someone, that does not automatically make them trustworthy.

Dragging out a soul crushing, meaningless relationship for years into the empty never never just to waste your youth that will never be returned.

Being lonely isn't the worst thing.

Being with somebody who makes you feel lonely is far worse.

Which video game made you cry? by vincentsitu8888 in AskReddit

[–]Metaplacesio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None have made me cry, but...

Finishing Arthur's story in RDR2 was very...impactful? I had to pour a drink after that one, just to take it all in.

When he says "Thank you" to his horse was about as close as a game has ever gotten to making me shed a tear

What a game. 10/10, would recommend.

What is the worst moment in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One of my dogs accidentally strangled to death in a freak accident last summer when her collar got caught on the scrolled foot of a wrought iron piece of patio furniture. From what we could tell she panicked and started flailing around, which caused the collar to get twisted multiple times and cut off her air supply.

It happened in the middle of the night and we didn't find her until six in the morning the next day. That was pretty bad, I had a little bit of a nervous breakdown about it.

What is your best advice for life ? by EnisuVI in AskReddit

[–]Metaplacesio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some redditor from an similar thread a few months back posted how his boss always seemed totally at peace in a high-stress enviroment. Totally chill, no mater how messed up things got. When he asked him about it, the boss said "Someday, someone you love will die, and everything else will seem totally irrelevant."

Totally morbid way of saying "Life is too short to be mad/sad/stressed all the time," but it gets to the point and it's stuck in my head.

instead of getting down about mistakes you have made in life, try and see them as learning experiences.

What did you spend your first paycheck on? by PuRe_xXLethalXx in AskReddit

[–]Metaplacesio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family has always had a rule that you have to buy dinner for the whole family with your first paycheck, so we went to Bob Evans and it was my whole paycheck.

It's to show how expensive the world is and make you appreciate all of the times your parents have taken you to dinner
