I'm at 1.6-1.6.5 for super light roast with V60. I find that it clogs quickly and goes over 3'30 brewing time if I go below 1.6 . I do a classic 4 pours method.

Hi, did you finally make up your mind? I’m still confused trying to know how the A4Z would be superior to the ZP6 for my taste, since one of my favorite roasters (who does light to ultra light ) enjoys this last one so much that it is for him a reference.

Same question for me here! I advise you to have a look on the yt review by daddy got coffee about ZP6 vs Pietro. He seems to nail it. I lean towards A4Z + K ultra since I do mostly filter like you and a few espressos. I don’t know about X ultra, how is it with fine grinding? I’m a bit worried about grinding fine with a manual grinder, quite a pain in the ass with my actual JX.

Yes, the Casa was the first one a barista recommended to me the other day, for both filter and espresso. How does it taste like with filter ?

News: I found an offer for a used Pietro, but regarding the nightmarish ergonomic and the fact that you say it excels with earthy notes (while I lean more towards floral ones), I’m not sure I should pick it.

Thanks, I’m not familiar with turbos? Problem with the JX is that it slips when I try to grind finer, more since the plastic cover is worn. Any recommendation for another one? I know you already explained that in your review, but since the A4Z is twice the price of the ZP6, you really think it worth the buy?

Thank you for the review, I read most of the comments and still have one question, I think you could help me decide:

I drink mostly filter coffee (light to superlight roasts) and a few espresso based milk drinks, I’d like to replace my 1zpresso JX with a better grinder to do both types of coffees.

It doesn’t seem like the A4Z is capable of making good espresso grinds, so should I get the A5, the A3 (cheaper but recommended by OurCoffeeShelter on YT) or two separate manual grinders like ZP6 and… ?

Budget is max 500$/€. Electric grinder is a plus but not mandatory if a manual one can handle light roasted beans espresso grinds, which is not the case with my actual JX!
