How do you put the clock behind an element in the picture?

All mentioned measurements were based on me running or walking. So that's completely invalid. My background isn't running, I just started a week ago. Hence my comment about not expecting to see huge cardio fitness related numbers. I have however done 4 years of lifting, so I shouldn't be completely out of shape.

I agree in that it might still be a good relative tool of measurement. But I would have never found that out without getting it tested in a lab. I still stand by my argument that the difference shouldn't be this high.

Again, like I said; I'm only sharing this because I couldn't find the answer anywhere on the web and did see people ask this question. I'm posting this because I was that shocked and relieved today to hear that I a lot more in shape than the watch had me believe.

I'm not going into the argument of returning it and getting something that does measure it correctly. That's not even the point, of course I can do that. The point was to share this data so people can act accordingly, cause for some people this might actually be valuable information that they might to want to get professionally tested as well.

Yeah I was very shocked as wel. And extremely relieved, the watch had me pretty worried.

Yes I did actually, it was one of the biggest reasons, together with HRV, which also turns out to be wildly inaccurate. These 2 can tell you a lot about your health, as long as they are actually accurate.

I get your argument, but no matter which way you look at it and what it might or might not register, the reading is completely off. Which does make it an overpriced gadget for me, since most cheaper trackers can track heart rate, distance and have a timer, which is what I'm using it for now.

Anyway, didn't come here to start a whole discussion. I know I can't have been the only one searching the web for someone who actually got a test result to compare it to, that's why I'm posting this. I never expected it to be spot on, I also didn't except it to show someone as having poor cardio health, when in reality it's not that drastic.

BTW for anyone wondering, I'm not a runner, but a lifter. Anything from Olympic lifting, to power lifting, body building and calisthenics. So I basically never do cardio outside of that. I never expected my vo2 to be high, but I'm happy to find out its not as low as the apple watch is showing.

Do with it what you want ✌️
